I'm so disappointed. We all knew the economy was going to collapse because of the Feds actions and all thus has been a shell game to convince us that not going into debt is what is going to hurt the economy, and Alex us buying it hook line and sinker. The economy isn't harmed by not increasing debt - despite what Roberts says.

It almost feels like Mr. Roberts likes the idea of giving the president more power. He worked under Regan whose trickle down economics worked until the Dems got in office. With Bush Sr under Regan the whole economic situation has been rigged for the Globalist from the start. But why would the Repubs give the power to a Dem Pres??? Just to blame Obama for being a failure...? I almost know it is going to happen because neither side wants do do anything to save America. I see a huge revolt brewing.

AJ - spot on. They own presidency already, anyone and everyone who could possibly get into the Oval Office. It is the entire body of the 2 chamber of Congress they not necessarily have 100% control over (Ron Paul).
If Directive 51 given the pres. such power to suspend congress by claiming an emergency state -- isnt the point moot - if the pres. just needs to flash the emergnce card to silence the impotent congress aka the rep. of the people.
