  • Was that Chessie System i saw in the background?

  • i thought the Central was unable to be relieved of Passenger services and was sunk to hell because of it.

  • Correct me if I'm wrong but I've always read/been told PRR's locos were brunswick green while PC's were plain black.

  • I saw an old PC unit in Kansas city last week still painted in the old PC black with the PC worm logo still intact on it and faded enough to see the old PRR Tuscan red underneth

  • Did you photograph it?

  • yes I got several differnt photos of it

  • could you send me one.

  • yes send me your email and I will see what I can get I took quite a few of this unit from several differnt angles

  • I live near a B&P shortline that used to be Penn Central.

  • at one minute is that GTW 5629 in the backround?

  • What do you think?

  • I've just made good collection of PC Green HO freight rolling stock. What was the meaining of the green color?

  • I have pictures from all the way back to the covered wagons if you are interested! My dad put 39 years on C&O chessie system and CSX. He started for a brief time on the P company. Im not sure on that those. May god bless you for just showing that little part. the two beam bridges are all gone, the track to edison is long gone, the area is ghetto, Conrail is gone, the B&O yard is history its a CSX Bulk goods terminal, the track to Conrails yard is rusting away and my family all moved away.

  • Also, there were tracks right up the hill on top for the old Toledo Edison plant on front st. and the switch was for the B&O yard. right up fron there was a switch for the track to Conrails yard, which is still there thoe hardly used. Most of the time CSX youses Conrail out from there Walbridge yard up the raod a bit and crosses over to Conrails yard (CSX) now. Man thank you so much for these videos. We were all poor in that area and the trains made life good! We would imagine traveling them!

  • Sweet, I grew up right where the part of the video (1:22) was playing! I spent years on those bridges, they were our of service so we just ran around on the beams. My grandamas house was right up the hill! My parents right down the street and my uncles right up the other side of the hill! My dad worked for Chessie and my uncles for Conrail! My God were those the good old days! I have so many memories getting chased by the RR cops and hoping trains there!

  • I always loved the PC.

  • The music is a little too classy for Penn Central

  • I love this video.

Can anyone tell me about the music? it's catchy

  • Our Music typically comes from Professional Music Libraries made for the Video Industry!

  • Will you please be more specific?

  • The Pro Video and Production industry has choices of Professional Music Library's to choose from. These are usually libraries of music that you have to pay for yearly, or in bundles, and can get quite pricey!

  • That was enjoyble. The music added a very nice touch of class! :)

  • wow theres alot of shots from detroit in there

emerly gulash does great work look him up sometime

  • i wish detriot was like that now

  • were any of these from Buffalo NY?
