try getting the schottenstein interlinear siddurs, they are published by artscroll. You read the Hebrew, and somehow take in the english translation below each word. They really helped me. Even before I became fairly fluent in Hebrew, because of these, every Hebrew word in most parts of the siddur was automatically connected in my mind to its translation. I didn't need to even use a siddur with translation after a few months.
