hey its not their they live in a society where only 1 main language lives. Like me i grew up with older siblings only talking english. But now i have taken the time to learn the language and understand it from my parents. So now i can honestly i understand and can speak my heritage langauge. It does sound surreal. I know some adults that can't even speak khmai, the sad part is their Cambodian. I'm glad my aunts,uncle,and parents spoke it around me when I was young. I'm going to Cambodia next year I can't wait.
