  • love it. keep it up guys.

  • i want to see them play with the original instruments

  • Oh Muk is an octopus lol I thought it was a crab or some other sea creature.

  • Nicely done, the arrangement could have been better and the words aren't so clear but good effort. They know more Khmer than me.

  • @soucorp its like me ,i speak hokkien chinese to my wife and in-laws and yet people think its funny, dont know why. maybe its cos im white english.these guys speaking khmer are amazing

  • That's amazing. it is very ashame for ones who lives oversea and has Khmer blood in their body but can't speak Khmer. Hey, you can not change your nature, you can lie others but can not lie yourself....

  • truee! (Y)

  • hey its not their they live in a society where only 1 main language lives. Like me i grew up with older siblings only talking english. But now i have taken the time to learn the language and understand it from my parents. So now i can honestly i understand and can speak my heritage langauge. It just depends on the people who are willing to learn and not give up.

  • when a person or a group sing and it hit you with feeling?? u know they got it, this guys are good not becuz they are white its becuz they know how to sing , u can feel it when they sing, sin sisamouth hit you a feeling his way, this guys hit you with the feeling in their original way also, very good u guys.

  • wow. good for them

  • damn, u guys want me to put a pillow on my head and shoot my self. you huys know more khmer than i do.

  • these guy know more than khmer ppl born here in america. 2 years for them to learn khmer that well. it sound unreal to me.

  • It does sound surreal. I know some adults that can't even speak khmai, the sad part is their Cambodian. I'm glad my aunts, uncle, and parents spoke it around me when I was young. I'm going to Cambodia next year I can't wait.

  • i'm impressed!! they've managed 2 learn the khmer language, both in speakin' & singin', considering that khmer is a relatively difficult language & cambodia & cambodians overseas are relatively a very small market.

  • Beautiful. I love this version.

  • The lead singer really sounds like someone who lives in srok khmer.

  • I love it!!! why can't more khmer kids even in srouk khmer be more into our culture as these guys who are clearly outsiders who are now welcome to be insiders

  • Maybe this will bring them back into their roots, I live in Houston, Cambodian male and I will never forget my roots, I'm a tru cambodian warrior!!!

  • The drummer is cool. He can drum me anytime. Hehe.

  • Whore!!! j/k

  • The is great guys. love it and thanks for sharing

  • Oh!! I'm not talking about these guys. I like them, they're good.

  • what rap/hip hop lol?

  • these guys kick ass!!! nice mix of khmer and english style music!!!! thanks for sharing!!!

  • All those "new-age" Cambodian singers who try to rap and all that crap should take some lessons from these guys and look toward the Khmer heritage before making any new music.

  • hey my besdong goes to you guys hehe

  • One word. IMRESS !

  • The singer is very handsome, but a little short. This guy can really sing. I am impressed...

  • Nice tune, I like the chord progression they added in.

  • I like the mix of american beats with a classic khmer song! GREAT!!

  • who cares...they are singing in khmer man!!!

ils chantent très bien. je suis fière de ma culture khmère en voyant que les étrangers aiment notre culture

  • Guys your the best, cambodian need this raw and real music, artisticaly beautifully well done guys, you guys putting cambodian culture back, unlike those other cambodian they rather use Thai or korean as their model, i love the trumpet guys, sound so cambodian , nice , you sing good buddy, keep up the good work, this is from man to man, i love you guys for putting back khmer rich music culture back on stage, the singing is awsome you beat Preap sovatt any day buddy .. Thank you

  • I dig this song. Sounds so nostalgic.

  • We should make these guys to become Cambodians citizens.

  • i love this song. and their accents are good.

  • Americans sing Khmer?

    That's very interesting.

  • I need to get on that lvl

  • ;o haha with alot of practice im sure you would be able to perform at this level with ease ;)

  • Good job guys. Where did you learn how to speak Khmer?

  • i think they're missionaries?

  • respect!!

  • I hope my frds in KC know I went to check out^_^ this link...this is so cool..make me smile.. :)

  • haha i respect your opinion D;

  • huh?

  • I think he wrote: ...they 'screw pretty Khmer [girls]? 'Forgive me, I have a small penis, this is a problem'...

Not sure why he wrote it, though

  • Close, but not quite...and it was directed at someone who didn't like the fact some white boys were getting attention for singing in Khmer.

  • nice nice nice....great job!

  • i like how you guys play the tune its like you guys put and indy twist to it. it sounds pretty cool.

  • Did anyone else catch it @ 2:16-2:25. Notice the drummer pick up something.....I believe it was the drum stick.lol. He was probably paying more attention to the many beauiful KHMER sreys in the audiences:} still a great job!

  • OMG, they are in PP on CTN? No way!!!! this is unbelievable, its an amazing feeling to see them on Khmer TV.

    May God bless you guys!!!!

  • loved the song ,they remix it soo well .. !!!

  • You boys have more talent than some khmer artists. I applaud you for that. ;)

  • you cant be more right than that. i totally agree with you

  • that wassup...where can i buy the CD..keep jaming friend.

  • Nice work Smithy, Peterson, Wright and Augustine...say hi to all my cambodians while you are there!

  • What i'm most impressed about the singer is that he understood the meaning of this song, those who understood the meaning of this song can never forget it,it's one of the most favorite song among khmer men,we sing it during wartime and peace time and when we're far away from home, champa battambang and champey siamreap are always on our mind right boys ? ;))

  • My favorite song mate, well done boys.Impressive, this is unfcking believable, knocked me off my fucking feet mate,i didn't think gringos can pull it off,i think i'm going to faint ;))),beautiful song mate,i sing it very very often.

  • Yes I like this

  • I did see the other video...They amazed me soOo much. I wonder where they learned their Khmer... they're goOd.

  • They learned Khmer by being LDS missionaries and living there for 2 years.

  • :O were they mormons lmfao

  • LOL!

  • Probably still Mormons. LOL. Being a missionary for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints is a tremendous blessing. My husband learned three languages for his mission to the Philippines. He learned one language in less than two months! Muk has brought the country such nostalgia with this song. They've used their talent to the fullest. Thanks for posting and sharing. Love the song so much.

  • That's really good Khmer for 2 years. I'm really blown away. My niece is having a hard time communicated with my parents. It's just cool to see others speak it so well and my niece is could barely say a whole sentence clear.

  • I did see the other video...They amazed me soOo much. I wonder where they learned their Khmer... they're goOd.
