Just watched "Sin By Silence". I´m a documentary producer yet had never heard. It´s the most powerful,raw film I ´ve ever seen on this topic; finally, the way this story should be told This issue particularly moves me and it was hard to keep my eyes without tears while watching it. Hmm, lets see here. " Men do not get thrown in jail for harming their intimates"? That statement is questionable is questionable to say the least.

One thing is for sure. In many states if a man calls the police to report being a victim of domestic violence it is HE that is arrested and not the perpetrator This if a matter of statutory law. All this in light of the fact that males and females commit acts of violence in their relationships at equal rates.

PLZ tell me who to write to, what to do. My friend came up for parole again 4 weeks ago (July 2010) After 8 yrs in, they said they won't let her out for 5 more years. She's in Missouri. Her husband/abuser was Pres of a scumbag motorcycle gang and she thought he would always send a "club brother" to find her. She lived thru Hell on Earth and they still won't parole her.
