The fact that it does have a (interesting) story shows you never played it. and you have to be inventive with the kills to get more points which the game advocates. But yes it is desturbing, which I believe it is in black in white. If it was in color it would feel more real but in black in white its kinda cartoonish.

Disturbing violence aside, Madworld can't really be critcisized about the lack of story. Most action/adventure games don't have any substanstial "story" and thrive on stylish albeit repititive move sets.

At least it isn't pretending to be high-art. :)
