  • @ 2:02 she looks like tyra banks

  • where can i find this download!

  • @mimi what does this have to do with the desire to be a white barbie?? im half black myself and I dont want to look like a white person just because I perm my hair and every now and so often add some extensions.

who sais how black people need to look like, i mean also white people curl their hair and go to the tan studio! does this mean they're tyring to be black? I don't think so... I'm happy to look more exotic than the rest of the people in this country i live

  • @0:57 she looks a little like Alicia Keys..anyways I'm lovin this song

  • omg as much as she is talented i am so so sick and tired of seing black girls/women in the entertainment industry/hollywood trying to look like white barbie dolls! im so over it. whats new? its like they are made in some factory somewhere. ughhh. i wanna see a black girl/woman that actually looks like a black girl/woman and that is proud of they way that they look and how god made them. just my opinion

  • @mimi42428, how's she trying to look like a white barbie doll? are u talking about her hair, makeup or what? because i don't get where you're coming from.

  • @tdottchickk i am talking about all the above and also black females in the entertainment industry in general. the ones that get attention are always the ones whos look favour eurocentrism. example: rihanna, beyonce, to name a few and even in the movies, lighter and more eurocentric looking women are portrayed. it is very rare that you will see a dark skin or natural black girl in the mainstream because it is considered unattractive and we dont do anything different to disprove this. is sad.......

  • Comment removed

  • @tdottchickk it is just truely sad that blacks cannot jjust accept the way god made us. smh

  • @tdottchickk if all black women accepted themselves and at the very least left their hair and skin alone in its natural state and left the chemicals alone then maybe the world will see what true beauties we are without having to change ourselves

  • @tdottchickk i mean come on it is common sense. a product that is used to clear blocked drains and clean cars and you even have to heear a face mask sometimes when using it cos its so strong. why whould anyone want to put these kind of chemicals in their body? because it is going in your body. your pores are absorbing them.you may like your natural self but others need to start accepting the way they look without any chemicals.

  • @tdottchickk a person can relax all they want but the hair coming out of their scalp will always be the texture its meant to be

  • Comment removed

  • @tdottchickk respecting other people's choices is all great when they if they werent brainwashed for hundreds of years to hate the way they look and feel inferior because of their natural beauty.this is what i hear from people who relax their hair.oh its just a style and manageable. are you kidding me? how is putting deadly chemicals in your head manageable.people need to look into why black people started relaxing and restructuring and changing their hair/features in the first place............

  • @tdottchickk it wasnt just oh i want a straight look with my hair. no it was a way to be excepted by the white man. the white slaves master. do you know how relaxers were discovered? well as punishment, the slave master aka the white man used to dip slaves in lye solution and this would burn and scar a person but also the slaves realized that it made their hair straight or what was left of their hair anyway.other ethnicities changing their hair style or structure is not the same as a black.....

  • @tdottchickk person.they dont have the hundreds of years of slavery and brainwashing. have you ever seen a person from another ethnicity put an afro wig or weave on? or do any kind of style to make their hair look like a black person's hair? NO! so why do we put white, asian etc... hair on our head? and then call it JUST a hair style.it is way deeper than that.when people dont want to accept the emotional and mental issues behind things like altering ourselves to fit into white society......

  • @tdottchickk it is just a way of putting it back and not accepting the REAL truth.why would you want the white man that made you do this to fit into his world happy by still doing the same things you needed to do to survives decades and decades ago. .......

  • @tdottchickk AA are supposed to be free yet still act like slaves. you can still have a straight look and change up your hairstyle once in a while without the chemicals. some black people just need to admit that they cant stand the look of their kinky hair and think it is unnatractive. it is just too too sad.

  • @tdottchickk those relaxers seep into your pores everytime it is used. i dont know about those that relax but i wouldnt want to take those chances.obviously they havent done any tests to show the sied effects of longterm use of chemicals like that.the black hair industry is a huge market who would want to show proof that their most popular and sold product was bad for you.maybe they do have the proof but just wont release it........

  • @mimi42428 A lot of these celebrities have no choice. It be the hair designers doing their hair this way.

  • @gmcmim1 i dont agree with friend lol1 they do have a choice, they just choose to sell their souls and what they believe in and the truth for what will give them fame.cos most of them dont even have money.very few are financially secure.especially the little rnd singers.they are so manufactured and are not envolved in the creative aspect of the music. they just tur up to the studio and record whatever is given to them.lol!this is why they try to get as famous as possible at any cost, because....

  • @gmcmim1 fame these days = money and interest in you.that is why the media is oversaturated with certain people. prime example: beyonce, ciara, rihanna etc....

  • @mimi42428 Tyra said she did not have a choice when it came to how her hair was being worn. She said in the industry the hair designers choose how the hair is being worn.

  • @gmcmim1 i still dont buy that. you are an artist. tyra was a model and chose the type of modelling she did. there are alot of models and singers out there that are dark skinned with natural hair or a short cut. they choose that look and represent their heritage. this girl and tyra chose to look like that to appeal to white people also.a hair designer cannot force you to wear a style. you can choose a hair designer that aggrees and respects you and your beliefs.to me what tyra said is a copout

  • @mimi42428 I really don't think that's true. Cause I was watching a Tyra episode where there was a black woman who did not want to wear a blond wig but they told her either she had too or not get a picture taken of her. So she wore the wig. It is like that in the entertainment industry.

  • @gmcmim1 nope still dont agree lol. she could've chosen not to wear the wig and be proud of who she is.will the ask a white girl to wear an afro wig or not get her picture taken? nope. but they pick on us and make us feel inferior.too bad that all the black people who have made it and can make a difference and be themselves choose to remain whitewashed. take rihanna, beyonce and ciara for examples. no stylist or hairdresser can tell them what to wear anymore as they are very successfull but they

  • @mimi42428 please get off that fake afrocentric bullshit.. just because you wear straight hair or weave doesnt make you ashame of yourself and "whitewashed" African americans just made up a whole bullshit that supposed to make you all closer to your "african side" please stop ASAP you all make a fool out of yourself

  • @SexiYasmina wow u sound so ignorant and stupid it is actually quite hilarious.you remain in your world and believe what u want.i didnt go on your channel abusing u.i made an observation based on my experience and fact about the music industry.u are either very stupid or just plain blind to what is actually fact about whats going within the music industry and afro american women.if making all those excuses help u sleep at nigh and help u live with urself about what ur doing then...........

  • @SexiYasmina then by all means keep making them.you will hopefully wake up one day.it is obvious that my comment hit a nerve.if u didnt feel exactly the same way of what i comented then you wouldnt feel the need to come on here and respond to my comment or justify anything.

  • @SexiYasmina "you all?" lol you are hilarious. please go and read a book and gt some education on the topic that u seem to think u know about when u actually sound very uneducated and confused trying to sound clever.dont bother writing anymore comment cos i dont speak to idiots. BYE

  • @mimi42428 LMFAO I have all the education i need on the subject actually.. My mom is African(Ethiopian to be exact ) and we laugh at your fake ass "education" of being black and what black is.. Being black does not have anything to do the way you wear your hair or your skin color. "You all" made up a whole bunch of crap to make you feel close to your "african ancestry" that you know nothing of.. You're the ignorant one..

  • @mimi42428 And what exactly does looking white mean?? Thats an ignorant statement in itself.. Because she has small features, straight hair, and light skin she's ashame of being black?? Dont come to africa then because its alot of ppl who are ashame of being black and really dont come to east african countries because they think they're white LMAO.. Your the idiot.. Please dont speak on this crap again because you sound soo dumb and uneducated about this subject..

  • @SexiYasmina you are so stupid and ignorant that it is hilarious.you think because i make the argument and comments that i make you assume i must be european or american?that shows what u know.for your information,i was born in africa and lived there for half of my life so get a clue.i know alot more than you ever will.i never said anything about all africans looking the same.africa couldnt be more diverse if.........

  • @SexiYasmina if it tried.i love my continent and my country and culture.dont think you know me.cos u dont.you thinl that its only black people from the europe and america that will talk the way i do and make the statements i do.i actually cannot be bothered with u.i have nothing more to say to you.you can insul me as much as u want and leave as many ignorant comment you like.i will mo longer respond to any of your comments.i wont even read them. • @mimi42428 NO you stupid bitch i meant the comment towards you.. Only crazy bitch is you.. read wtf you wrote before your trying to be smart ass..

  • @SexiYasmina what is your problem?i dont see why that comment was directed at me cos i said nothing to you for like 2 months.u are having an argument with someone else and then mistakedly send me a comment meant for them and then cos u dont want to look like a fool u keep saying that it was meant for me.i really and truely have nothing else to say to u.u are sad and lost.keep on insulting as your vocabulary is that limited.have a nice life.take care and gos bless u.

  • @mimi42428 LMAO didnt have a convo with you 2months ago because i just found this song sweetie and dont talk about anyone having a "limited vocabulary" when you cant spell "cause" "mistakenly" "you" and etc... Instead of assuming who i was you should of read what I said because in the end you sound like an idiot.. Good day!! :-)

  • @SexiYasmina @SexiYasmina u really r crazy.what r u talking about exactly?ur the one that is sending comments/responses to the wrong people.u directed a response to me.maybe accidently but u did direct it at me.u r so immature.i didnt need to read ur whole conversation cos it has nothing to me.but when u send me a comment that is meant for someone else and im not sure what ur talking about,it is weird.please get a life and grown up smdh

  • @gmcmim1 still choose to look like wannabe white girls. to bad smh

  • @gmcmim1 she still is not accepting the things she did wrong and how she made herself appear

  • @mimi42428 um you do know this girl is not fully black right? i went to school with her and she is mixed with white or something but not fully black

  • @4evernivea yeah and i know her family she's fully black haha she's not mixed

  • @SexiYasmina You must not know her family because her father is white and her mother is black..Caught up in a lie ?

  • @TashasHubby ummm not really because it was a joke lol and no way in hell i believe she's mixed my opinion

  • @SexiYasmina Well she posted a picture on her Myspace awhile back with her Mother & Father so please come correct !

  • @TashasHubby lol ever heard of step dads? haha idk but she might be.. cool if she is because i am :-)

  • @mimi42428 How is trying to look "white?"

  • @mimi42428 look up singer :Niajae. she has a video to her song "Pon di wall, Bout 2 go down, and a video to her song crazy coming out.

    she's a pretty chocolate girl

  • @mimi42428 she's not fully black she's mixed stupid

  • @snickerz0123 and? what does that matter.when people look at her they see a black girl! sso get over it! youre the one thats stupid.dont talk about things you have no comprehension about.bye

  • @snickerz0123 look pycho stop messaging me! i dont care what your opinion is and frankly it would be awesome if you would stop stalking me! i stated my opinion and i couldnt care less whether you agree with me or not, that is why it is called an opinion and it is fact that when people look at her she is considered an afro girl so get over it.unless youre blind.its not like people are going to go around asking her what shes mixed with? she human but represents a group of people that look ....

  • @snickerz0123 similar to her.why are you coming on here starting an argument with me? you must really not have a life.

  • @mimi42428 one i have a life two im not a wanna be preacher that has to go on the internet to "seem" like anyone is listening three go to hell and good bye

  • @mimi42428 since when does being black mean you have to look a certain way..unfortunately years of slavery and interracial relationships has changed that...God why cant we just be happy that we have black faces in the media because there was a time when no matter how light or close to white you were we were pushed a side..smh stop stereotyping

  • @Krissycakes954 so youre happy to settle for what the white media wants to portray all black women as? youre contradicting yourself right now.how can you say that we should just be happy?how is it fair that the media only ever portrays one type of black woman as attractive and acceptable.and thats light skin straight hair preferably mixed race. there are so many different skintones and hair textires...............

  • @Krissycakes954 of black woman but the media chooses to how you the closest to white possible.and youre happy to just settle for that? lol thats exactly what the media wants.and you see nothing wrong in that? hmmm ok good for you but i completely disagree.but to each their own.you have your opinion and i have mine.

  • @mimi42428 How is it settling when there is plenty of examples of black women of all shades and sizes in the media you act as if light skin should be excluded and only the most Nubian you looking sisters put on display smh

  • @Krissycakes954 and you assume that im nubian looking because i make this argument? lol

i already stated my opinion.ans im not arguing with anyone about it anymore

  • @mimi42428 ... lol. Yeah, because to be a black woman you have to fit into a mold that YOU deem makes someone a black woman.

Your opinion is hypocritical and fucking stupid. People should just be who they are. Period.

  • @elvickRULES it isnt about anyone being how I deem them to be but people learning to accept themselves for who they are and how they were born and thats the truth.there are wayyyyy too many brown women/women of afro decent who have bought into a eurocentric idea of beauty and dont even know it.they then come up with excuses for why they change and ulter their appearance to fit that of eurocentric europe whether they want to accept it or not.thats my opinion.you are allowed to have yours.

  • "long awaited" damn right long awaited!! Better be coming out very soon..

  • she kinda looks like tyra

  • "Blue" sounds great because it's catchy as hell. Surprisingly, I didn't think Natasha could sing this well, but she was killing those ad-libs.
