Anyone know about the kinds of projectors used or can give me any information on being a projectionsit ? At my cineplex, there is nobody with experience and they need to train somebody new to the position and there are about 20 people interested, so its going to be tough. Any help would me much appreciated :D
This is way more roomy and spacious then mine, how many projectors are there running at a time there? and it also looks like you have 2 movies on shelves
sweet! is this an older cinema or is this pretty much what all non digital projection rooms look like? also, do you know what the weird sensor looking thing(10 inch glass square panel with dim led) that is by the projector window(audience side) is for? i see them in all the theaters i go in and am really curious as to what they might be. also, do the electronic cabinets mostly just contain the amplifiers and other audio equipment, or is they're something else in their as well?
@jeffer2m the LED lighting stuff you're talking about is probably the Rear Window Captioning, for deaf or hard of hearing audience members. those people a certain handheld device that reflects the LED text onto it.

@Likethabritish Hey, I've been a projectionist at a Cineplex for the past few years, which one are you at and what type of questions do you have?
