You're really reaching with some of these. You had to circle the ad on the computer, zoom into the logo on the TV, and the laptop logo in the scene with shirtless Bond was so poorly lit, that you could barely make it out.

Most of these are for convenience, anyway (like 24 using Fox News whenever they need a news scene.) If they need a TV in a scene, why not use a Sony?

And not all product placement is bad. I noticed you didn't include the Aston Martin, Bond's signature car.

Bloody hell - I can taste Sony. Sometimes product placement is so obvious - for example I like how everyone owns a Mercedes-Benz in 'Sex and the City' (the movie). It does work though - I remember really wanting Red Bull after watching 'New York Minute'.

The bluray security system actually made sense to me, since they would probably be able to fit a whole days worth of SD video on a single bluray disc. I've operated a CCTV system before.

The watch didn't bother me either, because it was a natural extension of the dialogue and didn't seem out of place.

It's just shit like EVERYONE IN THE MOVIE having a sony ericsson, a sony bravia, or a sony laptop- or when movie makers very obviously show the brand names where product placement is a problem.
