  • I LIKE THE COCKATIEL WHO KEEPS MOVING AROUND LOL LOOKS LIKE MINE HAHA MINE IS A COURAGOUS COCKATIEL LOL GOES UNDER BEDS HAHA

  • ALL THE COCKATIELS LOOK LIKE THE ONE I HAVE LOL SO CUTE LUV COCKATIELS SO CUTE

  • the cockatiels are the bouncers!

  • ALL PARAKEETS are budges. The so-called 'ENGLISH' budgie is actually no different from any regular, old, parakeet except to maybe charge more for a bird imported from England. That sucks, too. Notice how the 'English' budgie looks exactly like the other blue and white parakeet. They can breed together, too.

  • @Calliope334 Yes! That's right. "English Budgies are NOT a separate "species" from common parakeets (except from other "parakeets" like the Grey Cheeked Parakeet, Bourke's Parakeet & the Turquoisine Parakeet). Common parakeets, or "American Parakeets" are "budgies" too. They all originated from Australia. But I don't believe "English Budgies" are actually imported from England these anymore. They have been domestically breeding them for many years.

  • @Calliope334 "English Budgies" were also known as "Show Budgies" because they were bred for specific characteristics. All budgies belong to the same species...Melopsittacus undulatus. Different color varieties were bred & some body proportions gained importance during the years. In UK, there was the origin of the modern breeder's ideal: the English Budgie. So there were actually 3 different species of birds in the video..."budgies", cockatiels and Lovebirds (or Lovebird).

  • @Calliope334 The word "budgie" comes from the word "budgerigar", which is what they are called in Australia, their native country. Alternative common names also include: shell parrot, warbling grass parakeet, canary parrot, zebra parrot, flight bird, scallop parrot...and the alternate spellings are: budgerygah and betcherrygah.

  • Three species actually, English budgies are the same species as other budgies (undulatus is the species name), the English is just a different mutation.

  • -Partying having fun....

-Bird Civil war Cokatiels vs Budgies =]

  • i mean 4.lmao

  • wow, giving all of those equal attention and dealing with the noise must be hell o_o

  • can a nermol parakeet get the same size as a english budgie

  • do you no any type of bird that can go in a cage with a cockatiel besides a cockatiel

  • @mutrang a parakeet gets along REALLY well with cocketiels

  • can a cockatiel and a parekeet go in the same cage

  • its not a great idea to mix any sub-species together in a cage. You run into the problem of them having different strengths, and hurting each other. Unless under supervision, keep them away from each other.

  • yeah. i've done it. it depends on the individual birds.

  • seeing a bunch of birds hanging out together makes me laugh!

  • they are a hoot to watch. sometimes i dont turn my tv on for days because they entertain me instead.

  • i honestly do not know. it is worth looking into, i will get back to you though. good news, my flock has 2 males and 5 females and i keep great supervision on my flock.

  • Can english budgies and regular budgies mate and have fertile offspring?

  • they are the same species so yes

  • Wow that is so cool that u are helping them! They are so cute! keep it up!
