That is an outstanding model. I'm starting a scale display model. What method did you use to pierce the holes in the dive brake panels? Did you use the cardstock sheet provided with the kit 1003?
@mailtopravit : no, the hardest part was covering the Frame with 1mm Balsa incl. filling and sanding. Stabilisator and Ailerons where made in Depron, this was much easier to built and much lighter than in balsa.
finally the very hardest part is flying this little fast plane.
speed controllers as i cant seem to make up my mind and what would work well together. if any one has made something similar or could recommend anything i would be grateful. thanks, Liam

HOW DID YOU GET THE VYNL TO STAY SO TIGHT!!!!!! Its always been a problem for me!!!! that thing looks unbelievable. You could add some retracts to it by just getting 2 extra servos and well you get the idea. keep it in mind:)
@JoseKagan : I did plan to built retracts. but I give up these plans, this plane ist too fast in the landing final and you need an asphalt strip.and a little to hard touchdown breaks the tiny gear easy.

I covered my Mitsubishi Zero with cereal boxes. Strong and fast...I use a speed 400 and 5 cell pack....
