Epic anime and the ending, while not happy, at least had some happy side to it and was happier depending on how you look at it. Won't go into the details as that'd be spoilers for anyone who has yet to watch it and wishes to. I would love them to make an alternative purely happy ending but that won't happen but still, the ending was great either way. It'd be impossible to continue this anime, though but that's unfortunate as it is really awesome.

awesome opening..... i finished this anime yesterday and it wasnt a "OMG this is an awesome story" but its a good anime, you should watch it if you have some spare time

I just finished watching Sola and i have to say hands down that it is my favorite anime. The story and its meaning is absolutely beautiful. I can find not a fault in Sola's, story its consistent and truly i believe is story telling at its finest.

Even if you don't watch anime this series is just too good to not watch. Best 13episodes/6.5 hours of my life, well when it comes to entertainment. I'll gladly re-watch it and buy the DVD.
