this was in year 2004 , keanu had a new neighbor and that neighbor is KATE (in 2004) boyfriend, the boyfriend invited keanu to kate's borthday in 2004, and keanu knowing kate from 2006 decided to come, and then he finally met kate in 2004 but the kate right there doesnt know who he is, and then coming to kates point of view in 2006, she remembered that she already met ALEX on her bday 2 yrs ago and that's when thing got more sweeter than ever

Theres no relationship exist in 2004. Alex was a dead man in 2006 thats explain why Kate was never saw him in 2006. Kate only came to know the real situation in Valentine's day in 2008 and warned Alex to wait instead of searching. But Alex able to find her at the Plaza in 2006 but this time he missed the accident. Actually, Alex waited for full solid 2 years to meet Kate at the lake house. The fate for both Alex and Kate has been changed so there was time paradox since the current time was 2006
