There were about 6 of them that were done in English back in the early ninties for a show called "Long Ago & Far Away" hosted by James Earl Jones. (Best kids show ever.) If I could figure out how to get them off my VHS tape to my computer, I'd totally upload them. That said, someone uploaded the English version of a Russian folktale along the same vein but I don't recall the title... (It was from LA&FA, too...) Other than that, I haven't seen any in English. Sorry. ^^;
There's an English version of the tale in the related videos section. It's a direct translation from this version. (The video is "Long Ago & Far Away - Janko Raven")
Hey there friend! I'm from Hungary. It was a monumental (and also nice) surprise for me to see our folktales reached other parts of the world. Thanks for posting!
Hello! I saw the English version of this when I was a child, and just recently found a lot of other Hungarian folktales, and I relly have enjoyed them. I just wanted to share my love of these tales with everyone!
