I'm always amazed how great guitarists like yourself can play the whole selection with no dud frets, no mishaps, everything clear and perfect. every note clear and on time, Claude you get the highest comment, the best. I still have Nick Manoloff's guitar books from 1956. I must be older than dirt. I'll have to check your stuff out.

I've learned a lot of chords and began reading the notes on the guitar back in 1963 in that book.

Hi Derek

Karl Scheit is a great guitarist and Erwin Schaller is a teacher they worked together on this method .

Instead of teaching guitar like all the other books in the first 4 frets they created exercises that teaches on one string in different positions.

So at the first lesson the pupil learns to play a lot of notes on one string going up and down the finger board.
