Awesome video, I find it hard to believe the authenticity though. You look to be in too good shape.
When I did uberman's -- yuck, such a struggle. Then again I never did it for 5 months, so I'm gonna take a look at your other vids and see if there is something that i was missing. If they DO hold up, then you are an inspiration to us all.
@tylersloeper Start from the beggining and watch my tone - it only took 30 days before I stopped feeling tired. Did you do that? I did end up ballooning weight wise :(
Hi! I am trying Polyphasic Sleep and recording all my results, and how I'm feeling. I am specifically doing the Dymaxion Sleep Schedule(2hours a day) which is every 6 hours, you sleep for 30minutes. I discuss tips that I have found out from experience that can make the experience way easier to accomplish! Sorry if you call this spam, I thought that if your watching Polyphasic Sleep videos on youtube, you might want to read about my experience as well. I feel great!
lol why would a beautiful girl like u have that abstinent ring? i'd be so pissed if u were my gf. id still love u but cmon. well i'd want to marry u asap.
@nepalihercules Mostly because of people like you who want to get in my pants, it weeds out the people who are in it for my physical appearance versus brain. I'm not saying I'm brainy, simply saying, when this wears off, that's all you have left.
hey, i just discovered polyphasic sleeping a few hours ago, i'm wondering what my schedule should be, considering i'm not at my house 24/7..very confused please help
I seen your schedule, although I'm just wondering how many minutes do you sleep each time? For example, "6:40 am" so you sleep till like 7:00 am? 20 minutes? Thank you.
What's your current schedule? I really wish to use uberman, however at a point I might need to place a six-hour gap into my schedule, I am considering 12:30am, 4:30am, 7:30am, 11:30am, 4:30pm, 10:30pm
i keep oversleeping... i have been doing uberman for about... 2 mounths now but i seem to oversleep 3-5 times a week, how do you sleep in a closet? do you sleep sitting up or curled up in a ball? or do you just have a big cupboard?... im 6 foot 2 and i tried it but its nai-on impossible to get \any rest.
oh and congrats on 4mounths of uberman and 8 mounths of vegiterianism... and being abstanant.
How long are these "Oversleeps"? Is your body looking for a core nap? I do not sleep in a closet. I used to sleep in my large walk in closet while adapting. If you are two months into it you should not still be adapting. I sleep however I can at the time, sometimes I lean on a pile of pillows, sometimes I sleep on the floor laid out normally, sometimes I sleep in the car at an 80 degree angle. I love sleeping somewhat in a sitting position, but it doesnt matter what I sleep in nowadays....
rofl, walk-in closet ok that makes more sense. the length of oversleep varys most of the time i just hit the snooze on my alarm without remembering and wake up 15 mins latter then i was supposed to.. but sometimes i'll miss my alarm altogether and end up sleeping for afew hours... it only happens on ever happens on my night naps. perhaps a core nap would be a good idea, i'll try change to an everydayman schedule see if that helps. thanks
You shouldn't be able to reach your snooze without walking at least 2 metres. One technique I heard was put one alarm on the other side of the room and a louder alarm in a room next door set for a few minutes later, and leave some food in that room. You get up at the first, walk into the next room to preempt the 2nd alarm, then have a snack. You should be awake by then.
Actually, after MUCH experimentation and many times of waking my twin during her alarm, we have found the best method is to use a vibrating cell phone alarm, and put it under your cheek while you are resting.
1. Best way to wake someone up is by touching their face.
2. Noise is closer to your ear
The combo has not failed my twin yet and she had many troubles with accidentally sleeping through her alarm.5 minutes after it went off, while the alarm is going off, I would have to wake her.
I only went vegetarian for a year to kind of 'protest' the torture most farms incite on animals, I have no problem consuming them, I have a problem with torturing them in life. Any little protest helps. But I'm not cut out for this veggie lifestyle, I dont even like vegetables. :S
hehe, I became a vegan recently but previously I rarely EVER touched vegetables. Now I'm a little less picky but I also enjoy plenty of fruits, nuts, grains, and soy products to avoid as much vegetables as I can. xD Also, don't worry about your weight. Body weight is absolutely meaningless. If you're concerned with your health or appearence then find out your body fat percentage and maintain that instead of your pounds. A simple search on google will provide info about 'body fat percentage.' :)
I know, I am a model. I said some of it is muscle, some of it is pure fat. I can't stop it, I eat better than ever, when I was regularly eating this way I was loosing tons of weight, now I still gain weight even eating the way I do. I am trapped and nothing is stopping this gain since I turned polyphasic.
Soy products are an extremely good source of protein. I also forgot to mention that I combat my distaste of plain vegetable by drinking many juices like v8 that are mixes of both fruits and vegetables and that miraculously taste really good. ^^ And also a suppliant multi-vitamin for good measure. When did you first become a vegetarian? You're problem may not be with the food you eat, but maybe your exercise routine. (Just trying to helps [; oh, and time for a nap so I'll be back in 20 minutes.
No, I exercise like a maniac, Im a bellydancer trained, and when I was eating normal foods I was always maintaining 103 as a weight for years, I worked out three times a week, now I work out more than that because I am polyphasic. I hate juices like V8, etc. I don't take supplements. I have been a veg since January 15th and as soon as Jan. 15th comes around Im sure Ill loose weight. I am a model so I know all about nutrition and weight gain/loss!
Hi Aeia, I was wondering if you could suggest ways for people wanting to adapt to polyphasic sleep but while in school/college. Perhaps the everyman schedule? Also, I've been having trouble fighting the urge to go back to sleep when I need to wake up. I know you've said not to give up and that you need conviction and a reason, but that motivational voice in the back of my head just isn't present when I need it. How can I perhaps gain that extra willpower/self-affirmation?
I was working at the time of my adaptation. You will experience times of peak performance, usually during the day, during school hours. It's not like you CANT go to school and adapt. The adaptation for an everyman is just as hard as an Uberman for the most part, so this could not be a solution for you.
The urge to go back to bed, boy I've had that one. One thing my twin did when she had this problem was put thingson her bed. I mean, a full size electric piano, the folded down pian
o, a piano stand, and a few other large, obtrusive objects. She had to sleep in between them. I used to sleep in the closet because there I would not have as deep of a sleep and my body wouldnt desire to go back to bed. It's so very hard to resist, but after your adaptation, you wont feel this urge more and more until finally it is gone entirely. It is human nature to want to curl up and nap, remember even normal people have to fight going back to sleep, but only once a day.
Awesome video, I find it hard to believe the authenticity though. You look to be in too good shape.
