  • ADOREI!!!!!!!

  • lithuania and the other baltic states have great histories and traditions, but it is let down by those idiots who continue to speak russian only, and only care for communism. Would it not be best for them to become truely lithuanian or latvian or estonian?

  • Super !!!

  • haha bitter sweet symphony by verve

  • @toxiqs

    imbisle, he stolen it

  • not even distantly similar to Verve. only some 5-6 keys are the same

  • TURKISH FOLK DANCES ARE THE BEST ON THE WORLD

  • bardzo piekne melodia i taniec. moja mama to tez przyspiewywala.

  • Brings back childhood memories, though I'm an American born Lithuanian I grew up with the Slavic community around Gary Indiana and east Chicago area in the 50's and 60's.

I appreciate the reminder of fun "get togethers" and memories of the best spread of food imaginable!

  • Appreciate the video.. I left Lithuania at age 1 year ..but Lithuania has NEVER left me!

I am an Estonian folkdancer. :)

  • "I am an Estonian folkdancer." That is sooooo cool. I think that the Baltic region is underappreciated, and I'm glad to see that people are maintaining traditions like these.

  • @evaniax I'm a Dutch folk dancer, and our traditions are underappreciated too. I totally agree with you that it's great that (young!) people are maintaining our own heritage! I must say that the Baltic countries succeed much better in that than we do.

  • If you understood you wouldnt like it XD Its on about a grey bee :D

  • Well the song that is played here is Lithuanian folk song :)

bitute pilkoji is kur medu nesioji.... :) all children knows this song :) in Lithuanian before Verve made bittersweet Symphony :)

  • It's absolutely wonderful, I love this! And very funny idea with using the Bittersweet Symphony XD

  • I can guarantee you its not bittersweet syphony , i reckon its just a coinsidence that they do sound similar :) we sung this at primary school as children, so did our parents and grandparents :) cheers

  • IF SOMEONE CAN UNDERSTAND ENGLISH...

Can someone please leave the words to this song here? I know how to say them, but i don't know how to write them because my grandma taught me the song. I live in Australia so i can speak a little lithuanian, but i can't write it.

    that would be great =]

  • Bitute pilkoji, is kur medu nesioji?

Is zaliuju rutyteliu, is zilviciu, radasteliu.

    Linkejimai

  • can you translate it please?

  • It's a happy rhyming song about a little bee getting honey that's all. Word for word translation wouldn't make any sense.

  • I guessed it... I could see the word medų, which is derived from sanskrit 'madhu' (lithuanian is similar to sanskrit) and also similar to russian мед (mjod).

  • crazy. my grandma taught me this song...
