This piece is for organ where you not only use hands but legs as well. You can play it solo on piano, actually I've seen somebody doing this, but it is extremaly difficult due to huge jumps on a scale.

omgsh i love this song sooo much. i first bought the music when i thought my marching band was going to use some of it for our show, but we ended up not using it, and i was craving classical, so i picked it up. and i'm not a great pianist and i can play it fairly well! it takes A LOT of practice. no i haven't gotten thru all...13? 16? pages...but i've gotten thru seven or so, and it IS possible. AND its SUPER fun! the nice thing about practicing it a lot is that you memorize it and then don't have to turn all the pages, thus utilizing your limited TWO hands all the better :-P

You play the bottom two parts with your right hand. The range isn't that large. You might want to see Rachmonninov play. That you do need 3 hands for.

try playing a transcription of the original organ piece to piano. that's what i did at first, it's a ton easier than busoni's transription. after you've learned the "simpler" version, move on to busoni's.
