Capito?

  • In this staging seems difficult to tell who acts more like a statue, the Commendatore or Leporello. Check Ferruccio Furlanetto's performance for possibly the best Leporello ever.

  • This is an embarrassment... but to each his own I guess

  • um.. there's a cut the size of the grand canyon in this.

  • This set is whiter than Mcain

  • Well, the staging was poor, especially when you think Don Giovanni is to heavy for the Commendatore to be dragged away ;-)

But why thinks everybody here that this singer is a Baritone? he might be a bass-baritone, but who cares? He might not be Kurt Moll, but I think his voice is suitable for that part, please everyone, listen to his depth and TELL me he is not suitable?!

  • the commendatore is supposed to make the scene.

why is he singing so stacatto. it takes away from the drama of his presence.

you're right sounds like a baratone, his high notes sounds very high and comfortable for him.

  • Trust the french to screw up good music

  • zero for the coreogrphy!

  • Ha! I liked it. Musically excellent. But why is everything happenning in the art gallery?

  • if you watch closely in some scenes yo can see the a ladder of the back stage lol

  • The most powerful part of this scene is when Don Giovanni gets dragged down to hell. This was rubbish and absolutely dull. One star.

  • Oops, sounds like the Commendatore is a Baritone, not a bass...too bad.

  • That was terrible! They seem to forget that he's supposed to get draged down to a fiery hell for his sins! What were they thinking?

  • They're not even acting..they're just standing there..

  • leoporello parece jedi vestido asi jajaja

  • Fine, but hoq ugly and inappropriate are the theatricals, awful! Why don't we learn to present things they HAVE TO BE in their Time Zone! Why put great Music in a shitty environment?????
