Whoever the scum is that took her would have done it anyway even if the parents were there, this wasn't random all the evidence shows that. My heart goes out to her parents I hope they find their daughter safe soon. People need to get a grip and leave them alone i'm sure they are suffering with enough guilt as it is everyone makes mistakes. My thoughts are with them and madeline.

Whoa Whoa Whoa, they not only left their kids unattended (and allegedly drugged) but more worryingly they left 3 BABIES and a sick child for such a length of time that it required half hourly checks. How have any of these people still got custody of their children?

I think they know something. At the time of the case I thought like most people she was abducted but on seeing the way the parents speak I can tell something odd has happened. Kate describing how she found the window open for example - she sounded the way I sound when I make up a covering up story, and in other parents in documentaries like these sound much more sincere and as though they are speaking from the heart. The friends all contradict each other and tell different versions.

@sooouuuuper I agree, the thing he says is very strange. It would have made sense if he'd said that was the last time he saw her but he speaks vaguely and a bit incoherently. After I saw the portugese documentary I believe she died by accident and that they panicked and tried to get rid of her. Leaving 3 children of that age alone is a disgrace. Another clue is that kate's fingerprints were on the window and that the lock had not been manipulated.

@deaconredwhiteandblu ty my only wish is that the truth would come out and madelines body or bones be recovered and given a decent burial - if the mccanns hadnt been so adamant at getting the detective portugese kicked off the case i think this would have been resolved a long time ago -- they behave very strangely time linnes doint fit theyhave edrefused to answer questions contradict each other and turn the story around made her a ward of the state 14 days after "abduction "

Judging is dangerous. Just b/c you've read the files doesn't mean you know any more then the average person. You make assumptions and are acting as judge and jury.
