for the first 2 achievements you can save right after picking up the can before making a decision what to do with it and if you throw it at the guard first you don't have to run away to load the game save. :-P

just to help anyone who would care. you can get two points achievement by standing directly under the hoop and shooting it up. it should come right back down through and you can get it that way.

Another way to get the 'What Cat?' achievment is to put something in the teleporter, flip the switch, then take it out before the item gets teleported. it worked for me anyway :D

You can get the "Flushed" Achievement in the junk yard by going to a basket near where he was to get the HEV suit faceplate . There should be a toilet. When the Combine start sweeping, a pod with a headcrab in it should land near DOG's basket. Then, simply use the Gravity Gun to shoot the toilet at the headcrab. Simple as that.

"Two points" isn't hard, just get close and aim at that green spot right above it and you'll get it easy.. No need to walk 30ft away and aim, pfft =)

lol the vorticough one evens out the two points achivement just so u guys know,after you destroy the gunship go through the gate and go to the end where there are 2 pipes and jump on your boat and into the pipe on the left (there will be a gate not completely shut on the 1 on the left if u can't find it) and Sprint to the end ((what u are standing in can hurt u)) and walk up to the Vortigaunt and bam theres the achievement
