Honestly no for Mary J. even doing her own thing because you have to be able to hit the notes and quite frankly she can't. Tamia set the bar so high and that's what she'd be judge upon. Now for Jennifer Hudson I know there are a lot of people who like her and that's their right. But I must tell you I'm not one of them. She's ok vocal wise but there is nothing special or distinct about her voice in my opinion.
