  • wow the comments posted on here are very vulgar. I am Full hearted christian and do believe in the bible and god.I believe in god teachings and bless my tarot cards before use with a prayer for god.I believe that the tarot does contain spiritual energy, but the energy is of your choosing. My energy comes from The lord and the gifts he gives me.I do not believe the cards have their own spirit but that My cards are wisdom from the lord. That the wisdom to help people is a gift granted by him.

  • I used to be a Christian but I got fed up with all the tyranny, hypocrisy, bigotry, self righteousness, homophobia, threats of damnation, stoning, murdering, crucifying, fighting and so forth that I had to give it up. Since then, I've become a devotee of the Goddess and things are so much better! I look to the Tarot now for truth and wisdom instead of the bible. The bible just divides people and even Jesus admits he came "not to bring peace but a sword." To be a Christian is to be a slave.

  • Can someone describe "Clear & Release" to me? Thanks!

  • The "Church" also didn't want us to know how to read for hundreds of years.........anything that would enrich instead of keep you supressed, they don'y seem to go for. The Pope wants us all to have 14 kids for example........

  • I consider it a crime against our culture that this other world of Tarot, the family of card games, is being kept hidden from us by most mainstream Tarot publishers.

  • were is the rest of it?

  • Qestion for the trashers: if the Tarot is harmless nonsense why did the church invest so much time and energy trying to ban it? And if witches are really silly deluded women why did the church feel the need to burn thousands of them at the stake? If your answer is because they wanted to keep control over the hearts and minds and evolution of their 'flock' and continue to manipulate the fuck out of them you're getting warm. The Tarot never murdered anyone - the christians murdered millions.

  • @zthetha

Oh yeah, they were THE terrorists at the time and they can and did get away with it.

Too bad it's the same for the U.S. govs.

  • 'The' Church did not try to ban tarot - it was a card game and the only objections to the cards were with regards to gambling. The images were not objected to because they were largely Christian.

The only country that did ban them was Spain, where the Inquisition felt that Christian figures should not be used for playing games.

Occult associations began at the end of the 18th century and only became widespread during the 20th century.

The rest of Europe still play games with tarot.

  • Is there going to be a part 7? Can't seem to find it anywhere

  • zoemarks and the other so called brigade of ignorant nincumpoops seem to want to rag on those who believe in the powers of magic and trancendence, but they will see in another lifetime how stupid and narrow their viewpoints are...for they probably believe in a big white jesus in the sky and their favorite santa up their bunhole

  • Tarot has no power, like belief in magic it is superstitious nonsense that continues to this day because of poorly educated peasants like you.

Why don't you google "cold reading" and try to grasp the fact you are mentally living in the Dark Ages, exactly where these purveyors of medieval claptrap want you to be.

  • "The Tarot reader, like the Astrologer first casts the shroud of an ancient art over the proceedings, mainly to obscure the light of knowledge, then engages the prey in a dialogue designed to specifically snare the mind of the victim with ego stroking words disguised as truth. The scam is completed." Adam Peenum

  • How do I use it? you use it to play a card game. That's what tarot cards were really made for!!!

  • Ahah putain c'est à se tapper le cul par terre ces vidéos.

  • LOL!

  • Is the Monopoly game related to Kabbalah? There are 22 properties on the game board. Doesn't this relate somehow to the Hebrew alphabet?

Does one need to understand Kabbalah to read Alice in Wonderland? What about the Walt Disney movie version? Does Kabbalah explain why Uncle Walt had his head frozen? ;)

  • Excellent presentation sir, excellent. As one who has read Tarot for over 35 years I find it refreshing to see the old wisdom being passed on via YouTube and the Internet. Thank you for sharing and I hope there will be more lessons to come.

  • greetings, i use the mexican cards....does anyone have a different meanings for them ? ida

  • You may as well use playing cards, for they have no power. Use astrology instead. LOL.

  • Wait Genevee1? You're using Loteria cards? Mexican Bingo cards?? How about Old Maid? Ever try reading fortunes with those? Or Skip-Bo cards? Anyone out there doing some Skip-Bo cartomancy?

  • lol......no i use the deck most use for playing mexican poker...thanks

  • IMO very few people should be doing readings for others. Any valid spiritual path should be a solid ground under your own feet before you take somebodies hand. Take the time and honesty to learn from the tarot. If you are humbler and wiser afterward(months or?)and not smug with 'enlightenment'...you might be ready to share tarot.

  • Tarot has no historical connections with astrology or Kabbalah. The Tarot deck was created for playing a trick taking card game. Descendents of the original tarot card game are still played in France, Italy, Switzerland, and Austria. Tarot is really for card games, people!

  • Absolute tripe.

  • zzytrewq: why do you spend so much time cutting tarot down? when you only discovered it(here)while you were looking for 'just another' metal band with the same name!? The only thing you can have or claim to be is of a pissed off ignorance. If you cannot learn from tarot, that speaks negative of YOU, not the tarot. Stop embarassing yourself.

  • I had never heard of the band called Tarot till I went looking for information on Tarot cards. As for your other comments. Blah blah blah. I don't respond too well to rude pricks like you.

  • i wish i knew the latest in meanings...of the cards...do you....ida

  • A guy who promoted Tarot on YouTube stated that the cards themselves are meaningless and have no power. They are just a focal point for the reader and their client. If that is the case where do the predictive powers come from?

  • ZoeMarks, the predictive powers come from a little something called "cold reading"... do yourself a favor and look it up on Wikipedia. Nothing supernatural happens with use of Tarot, just the old charlatan's trick of reading into another person, fishing for details, and shifting meanings of cards to suit the occasion!

  • The sad thing is, most of the time the supposed "psychic" or "card reader" is so convinced of their powers, they don't even realize their cold-reading for what it is! Thus, the boat I found myself in back when I used to use Tarot cards to tell fortunes. It's much nicer now that I've found the true use for Tarot... that of playing a really fun trick-taking game!

  • Ah wait, ZoeMarks, I just read your other comments... I guess you must have been asking a rhetorical question there eh? Sorry to pen you in on the side of the card-readers with my answer-posts there! Heh...

  • I probably shouldn't be so subtle when I post. Gets me into all sorts of trouble. Anyway, good to see another stirrer getting into these card clowns. :-)

  • Yeah, although I don't want to just "stir things up" in the long run I'd really love it if people could learn about the history and how to of tarot game playing. It would be nice if Tarot the game was just a prominent if not more so someday as the fortune telling end of things. For that to happen, more and moe people need to get the word out... and teach others how to play. I'm not sure how long it will take me, but eventually I want to get a tutorial video up on it to my account.

  • Tarot the card game sounds interesting. You'll have a hard time convincing the fortune telling brigade that's all the cards are good for.

I try not to let anyone get away with a claim unless they can provide some basis for the claim. Sometimes it means stirring, sometimes it means prodding. Cheers

  • As a long time student of the Tarot I find your presentation to be spot on. I can't wait for lesson 7.

  • a great ritual presented here. I'm interested to learn more about 'show me not the hopes and fears of this person, but show me only truth'. It would seem the 2 are not mutually exclusive. maybe fears can color/or even mask a message from becoming known? I much appreciate this video- regards-

  • Great explanation! But what are the spreads? I watched all the videos waiting for this one! Please post the next one whenever you can ^^

  • i thik the spreads part has been cut off. :(

  • theres an other vid on youtube that covers spreads and card definitions. Golden Dawn is top notch. Because of the level of choice.
