You need to stop viewing God in a non personal way. Think for a moment.....Has anyone you loved ever betrayed you? Cheated on you or left you in the mists of a struggle? How did that feel to your heart? To realize they never loved you. Now realize that every time you sin you do the same thing to God almighty. You break his heart every time. Imagine how many times our God is hurt and not loved every day. Think of how you can start treating him the way you'd like to be treated. In love!

I'd like to share a thought with everyone here. I was a false convert too. I was saved sometime the beginning of 2011. 2 tips of encouragement that helped me overcome porn addiction. First...get net nanny or a other block service for all your devices. Invest in your eternity! Second and most important part. Your problem isn't porn addiction, its that you don't love Jesus or are at a very low level like I was. Seek his face! Be in scripture daily! I'd like to tag along one extra post.

Very helpful information here. I've had a problem with pornography ( even as a christian ) up until about a month a go. Where after praying about the issue God helped me to give it up. Also what helped was examining my self to see if I was really in the faith. I believe I was saved even with my problem with this sin. But I just didn't want to take the risk, and play with my eternity like that. I still struggle with bad thoughts from time to time and this information was really helpful.
