Another suggestion is to start doing everything with your left hand to coordinate it. Like practice writing, eating, opening doors, turning on lights, etc with your left hand. It'll help your coordination. One our our best snare drummers did that and it helped.
u know basketball is kinda like drum coz get some weights but not realy heavy ones just ones that ur rist can cary not ur arm hold it with ur left hand nd keep movin ur rist up nd down(fink itl work jst try)
what you should try is go back to single and double paradiddles try the lefties a lot slower than righties and gradually pick up the tempo (a metronome helps A LOT)
Thank god I'm a lefty.....but it sucks because everything has a right lead....

why are the tips cut off?
drummerdog80 1 year ago
@drummerdog80 i think they were cut off bc the end was too heavy 4 him
alonwave 1 year ago
@drummerdog80
theory 1 .... so as not to break tips on a nonresponsive practice board
theory 2 .... he has already broken his tips on a nonresponsive practice board
Theory 3 .... the recording sounded better that way
Theory 4 .... You exist solely within your own parallel universe... you decide why he does it and you'll be right...

Roxas6285 2 years ago 2
@overkill54 it would be para-para-paradiddle even though it does sound strange.
00ThePolice00 1 year ago
it's a triple paradiddle it's a triple paradiddle
or one ee and a two ee and a one ee and a two ee and a.....
zombiejesus94 1 year ago
@overkill54 it depends what tempo you are on. They can be from 32nd notes to quarter notes and beyond.
The easiest way is to make them 16th notes probably.
|| 1 e & a 2 e & a 3 e & a 4 e & a ||
That would be one measure of paradiddles.
each number/letter/symbol repressents 1 16th note. each number/letter/symbol also repressents a right or a left stroke.
So to put it in right/left form. to match it would be:
|| R L R R L R L L R L R R L R L L ||
Hope that helps!

@overkill54 wow, I was scrolling through these way too fast. Thought we were on a single paradiddle. lol sry.
|| 1 e & a 2 e & a 3 e & a 4 e & a ||
Same set up as single paradiddle, only different sticking.
|| R L R L R L R R L R L R L R LL ||
It's easiest to focus on the single strokes of the leading hand. For example:
[R] l [R] l [R] l R R [L] r [L] r [L] r L L
[1, 2, 3, & a, 1, 2, 3, & a] is how I think of it.
Hope that helps.

It's (I think) something that strengthens your wrist. You can find them at sporting stores for a couple bucks. Just google powerball.
