While I do believe in the divinity of Christ, I believe the way he teaches us to live is worthwhile. So, even if I did not believe in God I would not feel that I was wasting my mortality by living in an honorable and moral way that teaches all to love and except each other. And for the record, I know many athiests and many of them feel the same way I do. They live by the same moral code as I do, they simply feel that they hold themselves accountable for their behavior as opposed to God.

@atheistexchristian ever heard of Cornelius Tacitus? He was an ancient historian whom what most of what we know about ancient roman emperors is credible for. He wasn't necessarily a religious man, but does account the death of Jesus in one of his writings.
