This is one of my earliest multi-track recordings which I did before I had some of the instruments I possess now, such as a bass guitar and DR-880 Dr Rhythm. My friend JJ Sharpe helped me out by playing the acoustic rhythm guitar, but I covered everything else myself. Sorry, I didn't see this comment until just now. LC
Sorry I haven't seen this comment until just now...anyways, yea that's good ole Franklin. I was a big-time fan of those Fabulous Furry Freak Brothers back in the day.
Thanks AxeGrindinLefty! I would really like to re-do this one on my newer gear, and invite others to help out. Maybe we could crank out something that is more on par with MTB's original. :D That would be hard to beat though.
Hi Dan. Actually, what you see in this video is only about half of my guitars. I have 19, and when I find a neck for my current project I will have 20 :D LOL. I know...but my mother gave me a T-shirt for Christmas with the slogan "You can never have too many guitars" emblazened on the back. :D
Fan-double-tastic!! Who's the man? You're the man! Who's the man? You're the man! Really enjoyed this first thing this morning! I would like to knock this one down along with ya sometime! I'm gonna start doing that flute part I think cause it sorta makes it don't it? Excellent job Larry! Always, always a joy coming over here to see ya!
Billo
P.S. Not that it means anything... but I nailed them big stars for ya! 8-)
That's not a bass head, although it IS sitting atop a Fender bass cab in that one shot. That is a Peavey Musician guitar amp head. I now have it on top of a Crate 4 X 12 cab. I switch off between it and my Fender Cyber Twin amp.
It's a plastic flute...a la keyboard flute program. Sort of cheesey. I should get my buddy Jak Wimmler to lay down this flute part for me. I would if I could locate the original tracks...otherwise I'll have to do the whole thing over again...HAHAHA. Call me lazy.
Dang...30??!! Wheww. That's a heck of a lot of pickin' and grinnin', and putting up with Billo...JUST KIDDING, about the picking and grinning part anyways...BWAHAHAHA. :D
Presently I have 19 1/2 guitars...unless you count my double-neck as 2, then it's 20 1/2. I have an SG Body (probably an Epiphone) which needs a neck. Right now I put strings on 20 necks though. I have a T-shirt that says "You Can Never Have Too Many Guitars" on the back of it...hehehe. Santy Clause gave it to me.
Your a hoot. Man, I get this T5 in my hands and can't seen holding another except when I sit down with my Taylor 410ce. Got to see that collection sometime. How many does Steven Segal have?
Don't get me to lying, but I'm sure he has a very nice collection of some really great vintage instruments. I hear ya about the Taylors...I just like a little variety in tone, but many of my guitars aren't what I'd call collector's items either...LOL. I have a few that I could part with and never miss.
great video larry... for those of us who follow your music, this video shows inside the silverhamer camp (which looks like a real cool place to hang out). your love for music is a bright light that is nothing less than inspiring for those who come across you like i did a year ago.
Thank you, Brad! :) I figure if I can't enjoy myself playing it, I might as well sell all of my gear and find something else to do. :) Thanks for the great comment. LC
@confidence1889 As opposed to what, actually playing the music myself? Sort of defeats the purpose of doing a cover song I think...

For xguitardude1...for some reason I am unable to reply to you here, or in PM...it's like you have me blocked or something.
This is a very simple song progression...
Intro: D - A - G - D (repeat)
Verse: D - F#m - G - D (repeat)
Chorus: D - G - D - G - D - G
Turnaround: D - A - G - D
Play along with LC and you'll have it down in no time :)
