  • I would choose Paul McCartney as an English teacher for my child.I know that Paul loves children and he is much more nicer than Bush.

  • Sir Paul Mccartney! He is a very talented, multi talented, most influencial musician of all times! I totally agree with him and totally respect President Obama! Even when republicans did everything to stifle him. O well things are getting done slowly what do you expect when everything was shot to hell by the bush administration. bush couldn't even find the door to get out!

  • If George Bush is an avid reader, how come he doesn't know the that in Iraq there are Sunnies and Shiites sectarians...This video is crap.-

  • Pile McFartney is a racist Nazi pigfucker.

  • So three years were spent reading books?! He had a fucking job to do! Reading 186 books over a three year span means you would probably spend around 5 hours reading every day minimum...

p.s. Dr Seuss books don't count

  • Paul can stick that award up his ass. It sucks that my tax dollars went towards that award.

  • i love paul mccartney and will love him like crazy until i die, but its even quoted by paul that he hated poltics, so this subject aera may not be his thing to judge on. i dont like obama (his poltical choices) , and i dont think hes getting us anywhere at all. but thats all my opinion. and just for the mentioning, cuz i wanna see how many ppl will hate me when i say this, but i like bush :D theres more to him then you know if u think he sucks.

  • Markgiller when the revolution comes hide....

  • Bush and his faux conservative asshole following are total losers.

  • Sorry to be a johnny- come- lately but I just had to respond to this.

I agree McCartney's remarks were unnecessary and unfounded but to stoop to his level with a jab of your own was just as uncalled for.

His initial address about Lennon's death was clearly made by a man who didn't want to be hounded by the press as his best friend had just been senslessly murdered hours earlier. His face says it all.

Nothing personal but you came off every bit as smug as McCartney did.

  • 1. Bush was not a conservative politician

    2. Paul Mccartney has written some of the most influential music of all time. The man is a genius...thats why they gave him the award in the first place.

    3. He gave an entire speech about how much he missed and loved John when he first found out about his death. This video was taken a couple weeks after by a harassing reporter constantly annoying him on the subject, while he was trying to get over it.

    4. It was a fucking joke.... get over it.

  • The most successful songwriter of all time is a total loser? George Bush is an intelligent man?

I can only assume that this is some kind of satire. Normally I can spot irony, but this markgellar guy is on a level of his own.

  • George Bush was and is anything but articulate and scholarly. His inappropriate gaffs are legend. His ability to speak beyond "folksy stump" with anything more than passionate belligerence borders on dysarthria and or mild apraxia. I defy You, Mr. Gillar, to produce any cogent discourse by GWB in which he backs up his inarticulate ramblings with scholarly evidence. LIBRARY SCIENCE INDEED. MONEY OR A WIFE'S CREDENTIALS ARE NOT THE MAN. A vast population will rejoice at the news of GWB's death.

  • Yeah, reading 186 books instead of running the country. Maybe ol' King George should've tried reading the reports indicating 9/11 was gonna happen that he recieved on August 6th of 01. Real fucked that one up.

  • Seriously? Taking that video of Paul's reaction? You fucking asshole, how dare you? He was in a STATE OF SHOCK that the man he spent so many years with, that he hated then missed, then loved has been KILLED hours earlier, then some douche reporter comes up with a microphone in his face asks him how he feels. He doesn't even believe what happened. He wants to get the fuck outta there and go in his house and cry. Jesus dude, you're a fucking asshole.

  • anyone notice how over half of the comments on here are against this guy? lmfao.

  • Anyone who actually spends so much time on making a video like this, has way too much time on his hands, not to mention has a deep gay crush on McCartney. He needs to get a job, or maybe even....read a book.

  • Bush wasn't a conservative politician. Compared with Clinton he spent like a hooker,

  • Bush is Yin, Laura is Yang. Laura is a wonderful and intelligent woman(I don´t

know how a woman like her would ever marry a guy like him, but anyway). Bush could have become wiser just for having her as wife, but sadly, he missed the opportunity.

  • You evidently don't know a thing about Paul. Pull the stick of out your ass and take a joke. If Bush wants to defend himself in regards to Paul's lighthearted joke, he can do it himself. People from all over the world know Bush as the uneducated bumpkin that he is and Paul has more than the right to say what he feels. He was married to his American wife for 30 years, and hey, we have freedom of speech. Don't take your immature hate of Barack Obama out on Paul McCartney and get a life!

  • WHO THE HELL CARES, DUDE ITS CALLED A JOKE STOP MAKING A BIG DEAL OUT OF NOTHING

  • WHO THE HELL CARES ITS CALLED A JOKE

  • first of all, liberals ruthlessly insult and attack conservatives with petty childish insults then call the conservatives mean. second of all, show me obamas harvard certificate, cause Bush has one.

  • Why am I listening to this video?

Hey buster the likes of you broke Beatles' records back in 1965... How has history treated them. Not very well, huh (if Christians weren't nutters they would probably treat them as Nazi's burning books, you know?)

The one thing McCartney did wrong is that he waited this long to make his statement. He should have spoken up when his remark could have made some difference.

  • History lesson for you: no one gives a shit how many books Bush read. you say he needs more vocab, yet he can write great songs, how does that make sense to you? If he can be remembered by his lyrics he must know what he's talking about. and last but not least overall Paul will be remembered as a member from one of the greatest bands in history and Bush will be remembered as the worst president of the 21st century

  • WHO IS ANYONE TO JUDGE EITHER OF THESE PEOPLE. THEY ARE, BUT PEOPLE AND PAUL HAS A RIGHT TO AN OPINION JUST LIKE YOU. YEAH MAYBE GEORGE HAS READ A FEW MORE BOOKS THAN MCCARTNEY, BUT I'D BET THAT MCCARTNEYS PLAYED A FEW MORE SONGS THAN BUSH.

  • Mark, you make some very valid points. I'm a Sir Paul fan, I was named after a Beatles song & I'm also a Conservative.

It's not what he said, IMO, that was offensive, it's where he CHOSE to say it. He was a guest in our country, receiving a prestigious award in * America's House* and he made a choice to bash a former Pres while he was a guest in The WH.

I wonder how well it would have gone over if an American celebrity had received an award in GB & had then proceeded to bash a former PM?

  • @MrsRhythmNation - I have nothing to get over...I stated an opinion...if you don't like it, that's life, sister....and considering you've posted 5 times in about 20 minutes...hmmm...seems like you're the one obsessing over other people's comments about Sir Paul's comment. Oh and FYI, Sir Paul and Lady Linda were married for 29 years, not 30....get your facts straight.

  • @TheLongAndWindingRd You're kidding, right? I posted 5 times in about 20 minutes because I have a lot to say, is that a crime to you people, having something to say? Like Paul, I have used my freedom of speech to say what I feel. There IS something you need to get over - Paul's joke, and that it was.

  • @MrsRhythmNation - LMAO...Hon, I've been over Sir Paul's comment for months....had I been so terribly affected by it, I guess I wouldn't have seen him in concert in Denver in July, now would I? I'm Conservative and I still ADORE Sir Paul McCartney. I'm able to enjoy his music, regardless of his uber liberal political leanings...in fact MOST of the artists I enjoy are raging liberals & I could care less....as long as they keep politics out of their performances.

  • What a wanker this bloke is

  • Here is something we all can agree on: You have a 6-year old child starting school. The school tells you he/she will have the same English teacher for the first 6 years. As a parent, you are given the choice of either George Bush or Paul McCartney as English teacher for your precious child. We all will agree on which one we would choose. Case closed.

  • @WhenWafflesMatter

I'd go with George Bush. McCartney is a total loser. I wouldn't want that pill popping, wife beating bastard around my child.

  • @markgillar Paul McCartney was a member of the Manson family. He was responsible for the Hindenburg explosion as well as the kidnapping & live burial of the Lindbergh baby. Lowlife McCartney allowed John Wilkes Booth to enter Ford's Theatre the night of 4/14/1865. Still, are you going to let George Bush teach English grammar to your own kids? Do you really want your kids not to be able to conjugate simple English verbs? One day they will have to go on job interviews and will need to impress.

  • @markgillar Wife beating 'total loser'? What an intelligent summation, not! You believe tabloids over highly researched fact. Shame on you. You'd be pill popping too if you lost your mother suddenly to cancer as a child, lost your best friend to a gunshot, lost your wife to cancer and have lived your life in the spotlight since age your teens. You reference nothing about him other than tabloid trash!

  • @markgillar Pill popping? What the fuck are you talking about? Get your facts straight. He took drugs in the 60s and 70s when it wasn't so highly criticized liked today. And beating his wife? Oh, you're talking about a claim that came from a one-legged gold digger that married Paul, then sued him for untrue events and stole 50 million dollars? Get your facts straight, dumbass. Bush fucked U.S.A. up.

  • @markgillar That was Lennon wasn't it?

  • This is one of the most STUPID videos I have ever seen! For one, you need to watch the WHOLE of that interview, and the many subsequent where McCartney talks about how he was affected by Lennon's death. At least McCartney considers his opinions. Lennon on the other hand, while still making some good music during his solo years jumped on whatever bandwagon was popular at the time. Why are you so against McCartney anyway? Are you bitter because he might be more talented than you?

  • @markgillar : good luck with your life.

  • What can we expect from Paul? He's always been a gaffe. Now senile, brain-damaged from the drugs he's taken.I think he was trying to apease Obama & company.Who the f*** is he to criticize any US president? He otta be grateful to Bush, b/c before he kicked terrorists' ass, boms were going off in London(& other parts of Europe)in their metro quite often.Paul owes Bush some respect.I WILL NEVER buy anything from Paul ANYMORE

  • Mark: that's the way your personality appears in this video: black and white. And that´s how all the conservative people appear and exist: black and white. Everybody in the whole world know George Bush ( Georgie ) is an ignorant, empty and silly, all fool person. You look like a lady talking about the neighbors. Please: be a man! Because a Gentleman, you are not.

  • Mark: that's the way your personality appears in this video: black and white. The conservative people appear and exist only in black and white. Everybody in the whole world know that George Bush is an ignorant, empty and very fool person. What you should do is to have a real job and a real hobby. You look like a lady talking about neighbors. Please: be a man! Because a Gentleman, you are not.

  • @EDDAREGON

Perhaps you'd like to show up in person sometime and say that to my face.

If we were in prison you'd be my bitch and you know it. As for Bush being a

fool, his grades at Harvard were better than John Kerry's. The ultimate dumb

ass is Barack Obama. Go to Hooterville Gazette (dot) com and click on the dumb democrats tab. If you do, you'll see Obama, Pelosi and Biden together don't equal one intelligent person. BTW, I have a very good job and my hobby is my business jackass!

  • @markgillar awwww. someone is on his period go get a manpon and quit acting friendly and thinking your a gentleman but than threaten someone on the internet, you're pathetic your like an internet troll fully grown.

  • @markgillar

Probably because Bush paid off the professors.

  • Paul was right! Bush was a moron.

  • @D28JB

Bush looks like Einstein when compared to Obama.

  • Sure he does. LOL.

  • @markgillar Pff. How ignorant and predictable to mention Einstein as the most intelligent person you can think of. He had aspergers, which is in the Autism spectrum and your precious George Bush allows your country to label Autism as a retardation. So, based on that, I doubt he would even want to be compared to Albert Einstein. The fact that you even feel the need to appeal to perfect strangers to 'prove' Bush's intelligence in a youtube video is cringe worthy.

  • dude its called a joke stop over reacting i support paul for making the JOKE

  • Paul McCartney was way out of line to say what he said about George W. Bush. Paul wasn't suppose to be there to spout off his political opinions or disrespect for a former President of the US. He was there to accept an award and he should have done it more graciously. It certainly dampened my opinion of his character. He may be a great musician, but I do believe that he lost quite a lot of respect from his fans when he made that remark. Paul should talk less and sing more.

  • If John Lennon was alive , he woud have Campaigned right in mid 2000s about Bush's policy , like it was with Regan ,not like Paul making a lamely comment. Anyway Macca was just saying in his free funny style.

  • your an ugly stupid asshole. get a life and quit making your shitty videos. and the book thing, how many books have you read dumbass? thats 0. FUCK OFF!

  • I love Paul McCartney but I think that he didn't have to inject his political views while getting an award. He shouldn't have insulted George W. Bush because it had nothing to do with his Gershwin Award. He should have just accepted the award and not insulted one of our presidents. He was out of line. Stick to music Paul because that is what you do best.

  • LOL Paul McCartney kicks ass and no one knows or cares about who in the hell you are retard. Bush was a moron and anyone who supports him is a moron as well

  • Gee, this is an easy one. You own a profitable, medium-size business in the USA. You run and ad in Craig's List to hire a new customer support person. On interview day George Bush shows up for his interview at 10am. Paul McCartney shows up for his interview at 11am. Question: Which guy would YOU hire? Be honest. Which one would you want talking 1-on-1 with the customers who put food on your table and feed your children? Which guy speaks more cogently = profits for you? This is a no brainer.

  • Why does everyone have to get all out of sorts because of one comment a man makes? It was obviously a joke and if George W. Bush was insulted by this why doesn't he take it up with Sir Paul McCartney? There's bigger issues in the world. Why can't we just leave this between the two of them?

  • If you guys really wanted to get along in society you would instead of insulting each other try to figure things out together. Who cares what Paul says? He's British! I'm more tired of Liberals and Conservatives sniping at each other than people insulting Bush. It's not progressive for America in anyway, we're supposed to be moving ahead as Americans not falling behind fighting each other.

  • Okay - cheap shot - McCartney may have read less books - but he sure as Hell made more money in INTEREST alone than the other 2 make put together in salary in the same time. He also isn't a war monger unlike Bush. He also is Knighted for his contribution to the world, musically and to humanity. What did Bush give humanity? He didn't even get off his arse during 9/11, he was too busy - reading a kids book! How's that for cheap shots? Mark G, I think you're jealous of Paul's deserved success. Ciao

  • Please.... It's not like conservative entertainers havent responded to things. John Wayne, Charleton Heston, Ted Nugent etc... How come I don't hear a conservative say anything when that happens? The truth is that if they say something YOU believe in then they are not "empty headed." I totally support Paul and he is usually non political...unlike John. Shows you again how much Bush was hated by the world...That is just a fact.

  • @badfinger20

When did John Wayne, Charleton Heston and

Ted Nugent say a particular president was stupid.

Reagan was hated too, but he was respected.

Do you think the world is ever going to cheer for the

US to do anything other than fail. It would certainly

explain why they like Obama so much.

  • How about this...easy to find on youtube of him saying it

NUGENT I was in Chicago. I said, "Hey, Obama, you might want to suck on one of these, you punk!"

Obama, he's a piece of [bleep]. And I told him to suck on my machine gun. Let's hear it for it.

    No he didnt say stupid...but...

Again...if Paul would have said this about Clinton or Obama...would you have commented? BTW I don't love every thing about Obama either but fair is fair.

  • Good commentary.

Look at all the pansy liberal comments on this site. "Bush lied they died" What a bunch of little girls.

  • you look like a buff daniel craig

  • why are you being a cunt to sir paul? what did he do to you? did he rape you? Fuck no! so piss off

  • yeah he may have read 186 in 3 years but most of them had pictures.

    P.S. your videos a drag

  • 1st) no one gives a shit about bush

2nd) you suck ass at making your shity videos

3rd) Sir paul is right you facious ignorant ass

  • @rickrenbeat

Yes folks this comment is about intelligent

    as it gets for liberals.

  • Bush lied. Thousands died...I'd like to hear your thoughts on that.

  • @musicvideofilm2010

FIrst of all bush didn't lie. I've seen video of Al Gore and Bill CLinton saying that Iraq was developing weapons of mass destruction. Were they telling lies too. By the way, Sir Paul beat his wife. Real class act.

  • @markgillar "By the way, Sir Paul beat his wife."

Talk about libel/slander! Which wife? Peg leg or the one who died of Cancer?

I suppose you beat your wife and your disgusting accusation was based on experience and intuition. The only difference is, you don't have $millions to keep her entertained between punches. Real class act making slurs against a man you can never attain to be as successful or popular as. Millions will mourn his death oneday, can we say the same of you? Nah.

  • @armandgallanosa

Are you so stupid that you think McCartney's

success in the music industry has anything to

    do with this conversation?

  • You are just mad because he doesnt see your republican ways.

  • @LNMBProductions

I'm just pointing out that Bush loves to read and McCartney's comment was way off base. When you make a comment like that you've got to be prepared for others to call you out on it.

  • You dont know any thing about paul mccartney and his reaction to john lennons death and frankly its none of your business. If you watch other videos as i have you can see he was crying, and you can also see that he uses an above average vocabulary compared to president bush ever did in any of his speeches.

  • @LNMBProductions

No McCartney sounds like a fool whenever he tries to speak. Brilliant writer, but below average speaker.

  • @armandgallanosa ya think? His one legged wife didn't even know who he was. My grandfather is in the rock and roll hall of fame, swing hall of fame and country music hall of fame. Trust ME, people forget quickly.

And he would NEVER (even when he wasn't in another country) make a joke in public about the head of a country. It's classless. In fact, he was interviewed after a performance at the smithsonian (a gala for Reagan) and was asked about Russia. He had an opinion but no comment.

  • Im not so sure this is a liberal versus republican issue. Maybe George Bush is just simply dumb regardless of where you stand on the political spectrum. Or maybe he's not.

  • Hey, buddy, wear some sleeves next time for us. And also, it's hilarious how you scented this video with conservatives just to make it LOOK as if you're being smart. Bush was a dumbasss. Beatles rock.

  • @rhcp800 Yeah, I thought the sleeveless look was a nice touch too. Bravo for mentioning it. I am a lifelong conservative but even I can be honest & admit Mr.Bush trashed my beloved party, didn't serve in Nam, & left us unprotected on 9/11. Paul M owns businesses in the USA and will pay more USA taxes this year than everyone in this forum combined. He can say what he wants, where he wants. The conservative cause has a lot of bright people in it, but the sleeveless wonder isn't one of them.

  • @WhenWafflesMatter Let me reword what I said. He scented pro-Bush rednecks to this video.

  • I'll wear what I want. I don't take orders from stupid liberals.

Obama, Pelosi, and Biden are the idiots. Just visit

hootervillegazette (dot) com/dumbdemocrats and you'll see what I'm talking about.

  • @markgillar Bush thinks that Iraq has WMD, when we went there for NO reason in the first place, and we found NOTHING THERE. That website you told me to visit, was totally pointless. TERRIBLE reasoning behind it. And what makes you think I'm liberal? I'm independent, and I think it's hilarious that republicans always say "stupid liberals" or "stupid hippies", "treehuggers". You have a lot of problems, hope you can fix them.

  • Thank, mark for doing this vid. My entire family was livid to hear about pauley's rude & lowclass comment. He was a GUEST of the people of the United States, I can't fathom an American doing such a disgraceful thing in the UK. And since it was so obviously an embarrassing attempt on his part to kiss ass, that made him look even sillier. The entire room went dead, only Barack had his Cheshire cat grin on. But way worse was Paul's apology to the world for supporting the USA on 911. He's a Bastard.

  • MarkGillar, you are so full of shit. Your little snippet propaganda about Paul's comment about John's death was completely takin out of context and now counts as your cheap shot against him. As a Beatle fan and amatuer historian, I could tell that Paul was completely in shock and disbelief. I think you owe Paul an apology for that rude comment. Why are consevatives so sensitive?

  • @bingosumma

A better question would be why can't liberals communicate

without using vulgar language? My guess would be that most

of you are intellectually incapable of it. There is nothing out of

context about that quote. Paul may be a brilliant song writer, but

as I"ve said, when he tries to talk he sounds like Obama without

his teleprompter. Paul shouldn't dish it out if he can't take it.

There will be no apology from me!!!

  • OMFG are you fucking serious!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

First of all you incompetent fool that video was taken right after Paul had heard his BEST AND CLOSEST FRIEND had just been killed. He was in a state of shock.

2nd. No one cares about Bush any more, get over yourself.

3rd. Maccartney will always be more important then that bafoone Bush. Your opinion what ever, you know nothing about McCartney.

    MACCA IS KING !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • @JennyBurke33 Paul's answer was extremely inarticulate. Hardly the only example of him sounding that way, but perhaps the best. Was he really in a state of shock or just stoned? A lot of us still care about Bush. Your get "over youself" comment makes no sense. Important to whom? Empty-headed young liberals who worship musicians. Sure he's the King. The king of fools, which means you would fit into his kingdom nicely. Take care and thanks for writing.
  • @JennyBurke33 If no one cares about Bush anymore, then tell obama to stop blaming him for the weather.

And don't you think it's funny that the LIBRARIES are in danger right NOW? I bet you didn't know that they're considering shutting the libraries down. Do you know that they gave the internet kill switch to obama? Do you know that his supreme court nominee said it's ok for the govt to BAN BOOKS?

"macca" was being honored by the USA and conservatives made him just as rich as liberals.

  • @TheJoozie I'm not an American, I don't give a shit about your countrys problems, Americans have more important things to worry about then things a musician makes a joke about.

  • @JennyBurke33 please tell me you're english. LOL The next time London Bridge is falling down because the Germans are trampling over your bad teeth, bland food, socially retarded asses don't look for our help.

McCartney is a great song writer but he's hardly qualified to make a shit head classless comment about one of our presidents while being honored by the very country he's talking shit about.

I hope the Germans have you goose stepping in 10 years. Churchill is dead, it won't take much.

  • @TheJoozie No sorry, all you insults to England are not offensive, for that I am a Canadian. Let me make note that nothing you say can insult me, for I take pride in my Country and yet our flaws do not define or stereotype who I am as a person. I will aslo point out that yourself as an American have no right to inslut a England. America was founded by the English settlers who were leaving to practice their own religion.

  • @JennyBurke33 REALLY? Is THAT what happened? Wow! Thanks for the history lesson! I had no idea (being a member of the D.A.R.) HOW my country came to be!

I'm glad you take pride in your country. You have that right, just as I do. And I'm pretty sure you'd be slightly offended if someone was being honored by Canada and insulting at the same time. Again, it shows lack of class.

MACCA, the drop out druggie should stick to what he knows. As should you.

  • @TheJoozie Never said you didn't know, just stating a fact. To be honest there is I wouldn't be offended if some one made fun of the Canadian government because they for one are a huge joke. So McCartney make a comment that some one could take offense to, He like the rest of us who live in a democracy have the right to FREEDOM OF SPEECH!

  • @JennyBurke33 aren't you under the QUEEN'S rule? I spent a boat load of money with her face all over it.

Public lands are called CROWN lands... The federal police force in Canada is called the ROYAL Canadian Mounties...Before a bill can become a law in Canada it must receive what's called a ROYAL Assent... This language is not a quaint historical remnant.

take some pride in your QUEEN for God's sake.

  • @TheJoozie The Queen has no real rule over Canada. We have a Governor general who takes her place in the Canadian Parlament. Who said I wasn't pround of my Queen?

  • @JennyBurke33 When it really counts and the people behind the Queen of England don't like like what's going on in Canada (or in any other Commonwealth Realm), they can suspend Parliament and veto laws by simple decree of the Queen-appointed Governor General.

  • @JennyBurke33 living in a REPUBLIC as I do, we have free speech (to an extent)but again, lack of class showing through on this man. It was an insult to me personally. He is not American. He was being honored by the USA and like him or not, Bush was the president. It's lack of respect that he shows for the people of this country. I think Gordon Brown is a complete tool but I'd NEVER say it while being honored in HIS country.

  • @TheJoozie If Gordon Brown dumbed down his citizenry by speaking to them in 8-word sentences, if he were incapable of conjugating simple verbs in his own language (even after attending the best schools), and if 1000s of Brownisms were famous for a decade on the Internet, you're darned right I would poke fun of his sub-par intellect while being honored on UK soil. No one is saying negative things about Bush as a person. Don't blame the messenger boy. It was Bush who gave ammo to his critics.

  • @WhenWafflesMatter I'd agree with you if I didnt' know how many people have speech anxiety, even impediments. I would love it if every president we had was a great speaker but it isn't so. Bush isn't the first nor will he be the last. Obama is a great speaker but everything that comes out of his mouth is to the detriment of the country... kinda like ol' Gordo.

And if you would "poke fun" at him while being honored on UK soil, it just shows YOUR lack of class as well.

  • @TheJoozie Mr. Bush doesn't have a speech impediment. Remember the good old days when the smartest kid in the class was admired by the others in class? I want those days back. I don't have to agree politically with a president; I just want him to be smarter than most average Joes. I didn't like Bush's father but I respected him because he was a heck of a lot smarter than me. A person speaking in 8-word sentences conjugating simple English verbs incorrectly but living in the White House is scary.

  • @JennyBurke33 and after a performance at the Smithsonian (for Reagan) my grandfather was ASKED for his opinion on Russia. He was ASKED and though he had an opinion, he made no comment.

Therefore, "macca" writes great songs, does a lot of dope, and needs to find himself in finishing school. It IS possible to express his adoration for the monkey in charge now without talking shit on the previous monkey. It's in poor taste, shows lack of class and upbringing. He's a scum bag with money.

  • @JennyBurke33 oh yeah, and stop trying to tell people you live in a democracy. It's simply not so. The queen's governor is an extension of her since she can't be in 2 places at once. The prime minister is appointed by the queen's governor. And the prime minister creates the government.

  • @JennyBurke33

Another liberal who is too stupid to communicate without using profanity. What a bunch of losers.

  • So, why is Sir Pauly so angry?

  • hey, you're fairly being a hypocrite there. fair enough that mr. mc cartney is taking a cheap shot at bush, but you showed a video of him and the "drag" reference. you didn't, however, mention about him saying that, that was the first word that came to mind and how he meant it as really horrible thing to happen. don't be throwing stones in a glasshouse.

  • WTF has McCartney's comments about your previous joke of president got to do with those given by him whilst being hounded by the press about the death of one of his best friends? Trying to make that anything to do with this goes far below McCartney's cheap joke - but it doesn't surprise me coming from a Bush supporter.

McCartney's legacy is bringing happiness and inspiration to many.

Bush's legacy is starting illegal war, and putting the west under heightened risk of terrorist attacks.

  • @domjennings

For the record, Paul McCartney is a brilliant song writer and artist, but when he opens his mouth and tries to talk, all of that goes out the window. McCartney

should think twice about questioning Bush's intellect when his own seems so lacking each time he speaks.

There was nothing illegal about "Bush's War". He kept us safe for the remaining years of his presidency. The rash of recent attempted terrorist' attacks demonstrates what a novice Obama is on national security.

  • @markgillar

So I guess from your reply that you would consider it fair for me to poke a camera in your face the day your mother dies and use that as ammunition as to your ability to speak publicly?

For the record, Paul McCartney IS a brilliant song writer and artist, but when you open your mouth you illustrate just how lacking YOUR intellect is. Bush kept you safe? From what? Did you think Saddam was going to cross the Atlantic to invade you? No, he wasn't - but Osama's followers now might.

  • @markgillar Of course you don't want to remember the anthrax attacks that killed five people or Richard Reid. What a novice Bush was on national security, eh? Imagine if 9/11 happened under Obama what you smear merchants would be saying. You have no credibility. You hate our President more than you love America.

  • @evironet

yes, i agree. this guy is throwin stones in his own glass house! he failed to mention how paul meant "drag" as horrible thing. back in the 80's the word "drag" meant alot more than it does today

  • Oh wah wah cry cry, the rethuglicans can run around calling the current President of the United States a nazi, communist, muslim, anti-american, etc etc...but someone makes a little Fricken joke about W. and the idiots get their panties all in knot. What fricken hypocrites....and to bring up Paul's reaction to his best friends death is disgusting.

  • @evironet

No drag didn't not mean a whole lot more than it does today. He was dragged (no pun intended) over the coals by the media then for his apathetic response. Where did you get the idea that the meaning of the word "drag" had changed.

Let me guess, you just made it up?

Yes and I shot back at Paul and now your panties are in a knot. For the record Obama is a socialist, former muslim, and frequently demonstrates a lack of patriotism.

  • It is great to have a president who knows what a library is. It's unfortunate however that the same president hasn't a clue how to run a country. Just goes to show when you can't think of a single thing to praise him among this mess he CREATED and not inherited, just blame the last republican in office for a cheap laugh.

  • I couldn't agree more with you Mark

  • Great job Mark. Keep up the good fight. If we can change one liberal's mind it'll be worth it. They are so stupid, it won't be easy

  • I am a lifelong Republican. We have tons of smart guys on are side -- too many to list here. Unfortunately, George Bush wasn't one of them. I hang my head in shame to the world that my party backed him. He couldn't conjugate an English verb if his life depended on it. Not once did I hear him string more than 8 words together to form a cogent, clear English sentence. Our party WILL be back on top some day despite the likes of Einstein George. Paul McCartney was way too easy on him.

  • It doesn't matter what any of us write in this forum. In one thousand years people will still be listening to The Beatles and no one will even remember that there once was a person named George Bush.

  • @WhenWafflesMatter

I'm sure it will be quite the reverse.

  • @markgillar I think both of us can agree on one thing: Paul McCartney and George Bush are not even in the same league.

  • @WhenWafflesMatter

    or obama

  • GW Bush graduated with better grades than John Kerry from Yale. Sir Paul did not graduate from anywhere. He's a dropout. Has the great McCartney sunk so low that he cannot figure out how to compliment Obama without insulting the former president? Pretty weak. Pity, he once was the greatest bass player in the world. Even that has slipped now.

Hopefully President Romney will not allow this kind of elementary school insults to take place in his White House.

  • After all those years using pot and taking hallucinegenics, it starts to wear down your brain. Thoughtless remarks like these are proof of that. It makes me wonder what Pelosi, Reid and Obama were (are) smoking to get them to the state their in.

  • Comment removed

  • "A drag, isn't it? It is!" Friggin STONER! I wonder how "Sir" Paul feels about the naked raped children walking around the feces and mud at Woodstock while their zombified stoned parents were busy catching venereal diseases? "A drag, isn't it"

  • At last the theory is proven: Christians have zero sense of humor.

Oh well, we all know what you say to someone who can't take a joke, right? (Hint: The answer start's with "fuck" and ends with "You".)

  • @billybee53 Oh I agree, some people need a sense of humor. Seems like you have one...Have you heard the one about Obama taking out the rose garden.......?

  • @billybee53 hmmm.. interesting christian comment. Obama says he's a christian and he appeared to enjoy the "joke". My brother is a christian and he also enjoyed the "joke"

And p.s. christians outnumber any and all others in THIS country by 200 to 1. You better "HOPE" that we have a sense of humor.

  • So called gentleman Sir Paul uses a White House event to bash President Bush. How childish and crude. Go stand on a public street corner and spread your liberal hate and intolerance for others. Liberals are such hateful people. Maybe former wife Heather Mills was right when she claimed Paul was abusive. Sir Paul has a dark side...go back to England and bash your own country!

  • Paul it is time to say goodbye. Your ignorance has overridden your talent and I will put you firmly in the category of "don't listen to your music anymore". Go smoke a bone, brush your teeth and count your money and fade off into old rock and roller sunset.

  • @robertabramson

A real brain right here! That's all it is, is just a silly joke. You always get some idiot who's gotta blow things out of proportion like Mark here. He took it to the next level and is now getting political. LOL

  • @Ilovealtoids

So you needed a YouTube name, saw a box of Altoids, and the rest is history huh?

I'm glad you weren't looking at a tube of Preparation H.

  • @markgillar

Dude. Mark. You really are an uptight bastard. This is the last time I'm posting on this. But you really are a lunatic my friend. I think you might actually have something wrong with you. Paul made a comment that last no more than 5 seconds and you've managed to make a 3 minute video debating it.

I have to say that your maturity level is killing me. In a funny way ofcourse.... I thought at least in the beginning you were a grown up. (I'm referring to the Preparation H comment)

  • @markgillar Good one!!

  • what a bunch of bullshit. Get real, and get some humor, don't be so uptight -ha! Paul makes and joke ohhh offends the Right.. Bush kills 1000's of Americans for a bullshit war..yeah we're freakin ofended.. Bush needs to be held accountable for the crap he left Obama

  • @1beatles guess you're fine with Obama escalating

the War in Afghanistan. The economic

meltdown is on the democrats for not

regulating Freddie and Fannie. You can

blame that "crap" on your fellow democrats.

As recently as May 12, all democrats but two

voted down an attempt by John McCain to

introduce tighter controls of both entities.

    markgillar 4 minutes ago

  • @markgillar

Actually, I believe it was your former president/moron who put us into this mess we're in now if you want to take a step back. I believe Obama is doing what he can, or basically picking up the pieces that the idiot Bush left behind.

  • @1beatles OMIGAWD he brings up an old tape of when Paul was just coming out of a studio doing something to bring him comfort after hearing about John. Paul has since come out and has kept John's memory alive. The comment Paul made is nothing compared to the deaths that occured because of the supposed wmd's being found in Iraq. A lie even Bush's puppydog Blair admitted was a lie. I want an apology for that.

  • if anyone actually believes bush read that much you would have rocks in your head . If he did maybe his mind wasn't on his job. Good riddance bush day he left office the world rejoiced.

  • @gregles76

Bush loves reading. The reason he and Laura saw so much of each other after they met is that "W" frequented a library where she worked. I don't know about you, but I read when I'm traveling. Talk to any secret service agent who was assigned to Bush 43 and they'll tell you that he read constantly on Airforce 1. Given the miles he logged in the air, the number of books he claimed to read was well within reach. The world doesn't have the USA's best interest at heart.

  • Kinda lame comment I agree. You wouldn't expect a Beatle to be a NEOCON would you? I am surprised at some of the angry vitriol the comment aroused. not surprised that McCartney is anti-Bush,In the UK 2008 Bush raised his fist and said "Goodbye from the Worlds biggest polluter" at his last G-8 conference -huge coverage over there-and the enviornment has long been an important issue for McCartney. It is a shame that poltics has turned into people talking at each other with no meaningful debate.

  • @slappyabromowitz The right is tired of empty-headed, left-wing entertainers taking shots at our leaders. Bush is a voracious reader and McCartney's comment was pure nonsense. The days of attacking conservative leaders with false information are over. Bush is a voracious reader and much more familiar with libraries than an idiot like McCartney. McCartney is just another stupid musician. That would expalin his belief in anthropogenic global warming.
  • If he was such an insatiable reader he should have swung by the science section. Check out the origin of a species.

  • @bacchus1975

How do you know he didn't?

    Perhaps he just didn't agree

    with it.

  • @markgillar I don't know he did or did not. I can say that his policies and actions of his administration set American Science back... but, ok how's this? He graduated from an Ivy League school (Yale) with a degree in History right? History has shown you don't invade tribal regions and try to install democracies. And you DAMN SURE don't lie to the American public. Especially when lives are on the line. Then again, he didn't go when his number got called so how could one expect him to care?

  • @bacchus1975 "the origin of THE species" doesn't explain the origin of the species. You haven't read it so maybe YOU should swing by the science section.

Evolution and Creationism are THEORIES. A theory (in case you have missed owning a dictionary) is an unproven hypothosis. It's an idea. Neither have been proven. Ask your run of the mill PhD where the proof is for either.

  • Great video! This is a well-said and irrefutable analysis from my perspective. It is important that we ALL get the FACTS straight! Paul made a, so-called, joke that was malicious, unjustified and just plain wrong. Normally I ignore and don’t get involved in thoughtless ranting made by celebrities but this was so over the line I will not remain quiet. I will indeed send this on to everyone I know to help set the record straight.

  • Get a life Mark. You shouldn't have the time to sit around to debate these things. There are more problems going on in the world than a simple remark Paul McCartney made. I think you should spend more time in the library. Make a video about that remark. George Bush comes off as an illiterate. You should rethink this and have a laugh.

  • @Ilovealtoids

You like altoids so much you make it part of your YouTube Nic and I need to get a life...LOL If you Google my name, you'll see that I have other interests. I practically have a library in my home, no need to go out. As for Bush sounding illiterate, go to my Hooterville Gazette site and click on the dumb democrats tab and you'll see that Obama, Biden, and Pelosi are much worse. Let's see, is there anything else? Oh Yes, have a nice day :-)

  • @markgillar

LOL! whatever man. You're ridiculous. Yeah altoids just run my life man. It definitely has nothing to do with me just seeing the name altoids when I needed to come up with a youtube name. You had a little of my respect before your last comment, but you just lowered yourself to below a retarded chimp. So let me talk your language. You can blow me while reading your f'in books in your "practical" library.

  • @Ilovealtoids

That's not my language, it's your language.

For the record, you never had my respect.

Not even a little. I've seen your pathetic

YouTube page which is nothing less than

an altar to worship Paul McCartney. Sorry

    if I blasphemed your god.

  • @markgillar really? debating politics on youtube? Quit being a bunch of jackasses and grow up.

and Mark, if you're going to do the whole internet talking head gig, you need to fix your damn sound equipment. I may dislike your opinion, but you don't do credit to your beliefs if you present them in a shoddy manner

  • Paul McCartney never made an eloquent ad lib statement in his life. I always wondered how someone so slow on his "verbal" feet, could write such memorable songs. At one time I did think he was at least a good businessman but when you alienate at least half your fan base, well, I'm apt to rethink my position.
