The problem with good young singers is that they use songs like these as a test and challenge of their singing voice and their capabilities! The mistake they r making is they are doing it for themselves, e.g "Look at me i can hit these notes and sing it well". They are NOT thinking of the audience in any way! If u listen to John Farnham, John actually amps u up with his voice in the most meaningful lyrics of the song. Song are about lyrics (meaning) and melody! I HATE when young singers fuck it!

This kid is a great singer, there is no doubt about that. But i seriously cant listen to him sing this. Its ruined. Only one person can sing this song properly with the correct power and clarity.
