I had the chance to see Jimmy Duck Holmes perform solo (no band) on a small stage at the Portland Waterfront Blues Festival and talk to him afterward about his guitar and the tuning he uses. Then I got to see him perform on the larger stage the next day which was pretty sweet. Can't beat that small stage dirty blues though...

My dad knows Duck pretty good. And it's called Bentonia not Burtonia (what???). It's a small town in the Mississippi delta.
