While i understand that this is necessary but hasnt it been proven that if they were to use the wash stations properly it would prevent it better than the felt sole ban. Diddymo can be spread in the shoelaces and any part of the waders. I would hate to see my favorite stream infected with Diddymo but also feel that a PHASE out plan should have been put in place and places like the park and surrounding stores should have stopped selling felt soled waders and boots!!
Instead of introducing diddymo its better to let contact cement, sealer, or rubber cement into the streams?
