A little tribute to MICHAEL CONRAD (1925-1983)

I remember the episode where they told all the cops at roll call that he had died. ALL the cast were in tears. They didn't have to act. He was missed and still is.

Sgt. Phillip Esterhaus--one of the best and most genuine characters. Michael Conrad made him real--a good guy you would like to know in real life. A strong man who didn't have to prove it to anyone, He was tough when he needed to be, yet he was caring, kind and didn't take himself too seriously. No wonder the lovely and hot Grace couldn't keep her hands off him!!!

He was truly the best. Every Cop has a Sgt. Phil that they work with. The kind that never has a bad day and always puts a smile on everyones face. R.I.P. Michael Conrad, you touched a lot of people during your career.
