I don't mind Andrews' drumming on Leprosy, but by the time of Spiritual Healing, the music was becoming more intricate and while Bill Andrews had improved from one album to the next, he was holding the music back.

Death metal that sounds like Mozart actually isn't the most inaccurate of descriptions I've seen of their rather unique take on things. His compositions, especially his zenith with Control Denied, always sounded almost like a metal symphony.

Being one of the few death metal musicians to actually progress in composition technique, to the point where it didn't even sound like death metal anymore, you can't really judge the furthest reaches of his spectrum in the same category (do you really want to hear Rick Rozz solos on every Death album?). What If...? shows far more skill as a composer than Legion of Doom, even if the latter has the sickest riff ever written. They're just different, take them for what they are.
