I think the rolling suitcase just looks stupid if you're going for more than like a week. I saw some girls with these bags in venice and they just looked silly. The camelback bags are good for hiking, but do people actually use them for backpacking in europe?

yah you can put your address on the luggage tag if you want to be robbed while you're away from an empty home. a better option would be the address of a relative or friend who's home all the time or whose home cannot be robbed... those wheely suitcases are not good for big crowds or rolling over the little bridges of Venice. Better to have your luggage on your back for that particular city..
