@dave11686 Hey, sometimes I mess up, this was at a time when I didn't know as much, though that exit for some reason still has Sauk Trail (Signed on it), according to my Grandpa. Though I can understand Dixie Highway there. Since its Halsted St.
@FreewayTitan I apologize for the way I worded my comment. Hope you enjoyed your visit to the area, I live not too far from the I-294 and 159th street interchange in your 294 south video.
Ah INXS, such a damn awesome band. Interesting video too, I remember the 94 stretch pretty well east of the 294/80/94 interchange around Calumet City/Lansing.
I really like how Indiana really fixed up their stretch of I-94 in the last few years, wish the Illinois side of I-94 was anywhere near as good!
@prfsnlwannabe They recently stripped 80/294 down to its original 1960s pavement to redo it, but the road is still shit. I-94 in Indiana is very nice!
Yeah we have a portion of I-66 in Virginia that's the original concrete pavement from when they cut the road in the 1960s. It's been a little better to drive since they started using the Pothole killer to patch the road but its still a hot mess. Supposed to be replaced in 2011. I'll have to film it sometime when I get a chance.
lol actually ++++++++++++ive seen worse . i-35 50 miles ?south of dallas back in the early 2000s was worse , it looked like it was only paved once when it was built .

Dude, fail. That exit after the toll plaza is Dixie Highway and not Sauk Trail. Great video nonetheless!

Tha big void on either side of the Tri-State Tollway (I-80/294) at about 2:15 is the Thornton Quarry, a HUGE limestone/coarse aggregate mine.
Also, I-80/94 (the Kingery (IL) and Borman (IN) expressway) at the IL/IN state line is one of the busiest truck/lorry routes in the entire USA.

Correct! I knew that, and should have out something in there about that!

Very rough roads, indeed.
