  • I remember the first time seeing this and thinking it was ace.

Then came THIS on the Policeman's Ball and I'm like, feh, seen it.

And the moment Natalie shows up I'm like, fair enough, they actually got Imbruglia.

And when she started doing the dance as well,

    I fell in love again.

  • love love love him!!!!! and natalie is amazing too!!!!! <3

  • great I love this

  • Pretty dang epic!

  • @solitarygrounds Deaf not idiot but you are!! and moron too....fuck off

  • too amazing.....!....i just laugh my ass off!

  • lol how cute! i didn't think she was gonna be there too :P she's absolutely adorable though!

  • this is the most brilliant show that ive ever seen! totally awesome

  • awesome skit, only thing wrong was the guitar near the end he had the opposite key

  • i noticed the same thing, kind of annoying.

  • BRILLIANT

  • Rock Out Mr. Bean!!!!

No seriously, awesome skit.. Even more awesome with both doing it..

  • what...?

  • It's not insulting it's a joke for god sake, no ones sat there laughing at deaf people, it's just a dance.

And also clapping isn't insulting to deaf people just waving your hands is obviously going to have more of an impact than noise.

Some people just complain for no good reason.

  • It's not so much that deaf people don't like applause, it's simply that profoundly deaf people lack the sensory input to appreciate it. Holding the hands up at face level with the palms forward and fingers spread and then rotating the wrists back and forth is the preferred method. The faster you perform this action, the "louder" and more appreciative you are.

  • lmao

  • Podum77, you've said several times you find this offensive. We get it, OK? But other people are correct: It's not "sign language", it's interpretive dance/mime. How are they insulting deaf people? Are they actually making fun OF deaf people? No they aren't. It was very funny. Goodness knows the world needs a laugh right now.

  • If this is sign language I'm going to start learning. Imagine how entertaining arguments could be

  • This is actually hillarious and seeing Nataly Imbrulia do the dance with him was even more funny.

  • This is good.

  • Im deaf and there is no way this would upset me he is miming the words in the song, none of it screams BSL to me

  • well like you all said before "never get tired of watching this" and because i found it so funny we did this song as the opening dance on our wedding and the all laught and clapped there hands, given m goosbumps everytime

  • yes because only hearing people clap but not deaf people because it an isults to deaf

  • So, does that mean that Deaf people cannot take a step back and laugh at themselves? I know many deaf people that think this is Funny as hell, but I guess those are the ones that take life one day at a time and have a good sense of humor about their impairment. Yes, I said impairment, that's what they see it as, essentially a nuisance.

  • Deaf people find it very upsetting because of his performance that deaf don't do like that and most hearing people think that deaf people do sign language like that and they making same gesture as him toward deaf

  • Comment removed

  • That rubbish you don't understand why deaf people find it upsetting but if you are deaf you'll understand why and please stop wasting deaf people time think deaf are weird but we are not I'm not blame lyrics it just his performance is an insults to deaf people

  • This was original done as an "interpretive dance" to the song, not a "Sign Language for the Hearing Impaired." No one should find offense to this and the idea is just silly.

  • I find your face offensive! Please find a scalpel and do something about it!

This is a skit, only meant to make fun of the song. Ofcourse I assume that you are yourself deaf and can therefore not hear the song, yes? It is simply a mime, and a funny one which does not at any point make fun of any impairment of any kind. What is does however is to show faces and actions that oversimplify the lyrics.

  • Do you think I'm offensive, No you're wrong it is offensive and you too what a stupid thing to say.......numskull............

  • You don't like discrimination,????????????? I'm in same boat as you, I don't understand you

  • Vous parlant complètement de la merde, naturellement il est blessant

  • Vous parlant complètement de la merde, naturellement il est blessant

  • His performance was in no way related to aids for the hearing impaired. It was a mime performance, synced to the song.

  • No matter how many times I watch this..it never gets old. I love it!

  • I love his motion for "man" "him" etc. HAHAHA

    Great vid =)

  • make me smile soooooooooooooooooooooooooo much!!!

  • woah... nice vid ^_^ collab with natalie huh ^_^

  • Anyone else notice how in the guitar bit at the end, he moves his hand up, and the note gets higher?

    Love it anyway.

  • Yeah, propably another joke? :D

  • lol ^^

  • I realized just as I was watching this what the song is actually about. If you don't know, then pay more attention to the lyrics the next time you listen to the song or something like that.
