Why do you think Goku is Japanese? In the original series, he was based on the monkey king, a demi god born out of a rock! When Z came around, he was retconned to being an Alien from outerspace! Pretty sure neither of these is Japanese.

I'm not saying the Saiyajins have to be white, but I dont' think they have to be any race. After all, in the show, there aren't any races at all. It isn't Earth, so there's no need to shoehorn them into a single race. In fact, there should be many races amongst the Saiyins.

I'm gonna end this on a single note. It might just be me, but most anime character look like White people. Very few seem to have japanese features.

LOL Goku is Japaneses by default cause thats where his pod lands he can be played by a white guy if they choose... and the latest scans of JC in the Blue GI he looks freaking buff so don't knock him down just yet.... I will have to agree with you on the no Krillin issue...
