the ipod shuffle does not need a wall charger or whatever you all think, the USB end of the wire goes into your computer, then u get the ipod and were the headphones normally go in, you connect that end the changer end which is what u see on 3:10. the buttons of this ipod dont work like the wheel thing you have on the nano either, its rock solid and needs force to press.

I'm not eckofish, but if it's JUST for football, or for like jogging everyday, a shuffle would be good, but it WILL get bothersome one day when you want a certain song and can't go to it. If your music library isnt very large, I would go for one of the new nanos if I were you. The size diffrence isn't big in between the two, and they both use solid state memory. You can set it to shuffle when in football, and then when your just relaxing you can navigate through your stuff. Hope this helped :)
