This is NOT a good idea, even if you leave it on the charger your ds lite's battery will decrease in life and youll have to replace it. ds lite batterys charge 500 times before dying.

because if you read in your ds lite manual it says it will charge a maximum time of 500 times before the battery has to be replaced, leaving it on the charger doesn't change anything. I would suggest just playing with your dog every day as much as you can, take it to the field for practice and pet it when it brings you a ball or toy. I am a nintendogs master, 9,999,999 points, the highest you can get. Had the game for about two years?

OK FOR EVERYONE HERE IS WHAT SHE SAID:

Get the wire brush or rubber brush and brush your dog. But don't move the brush around like your brushing it. Just place it onto the dog middle. Plug your charger in because otherwise u will use all of your power in a couple of hours. Just wait for 1-24 hours and every minutes you will get 3 trainer points. So in 8 hours (While you sleep) you will have around 700 trainer points.
