  • oui that dosnt look anything like a bmx to me

  • @siegekill1 its a race bike. you can tell by the brake mounts.

  • MUY BUENO

  • How do you know what size? Becasue i want to change it so i can have from 1 piece to 3 piece cranks

  • im so old school. i still use american bb.

  • Thank you, This Helped Alot

  • The hole where the Bracket goes through in mine is 60mm (I couldn't measure properly because the 1 pc crank was in the way so 60mm give or take) in diameter what size BB should i use and where can i get it with a set of cranks that will fit it?

  • i can get my first cup in but the second cup wont screw in

    any help please?

  • @19Dk95 Make sure you are spinning the right direction. First look at BB. Are there any metal shavings or splinter sized pieces of metal? If so the threads may be damaged. If found clean them off slowly with little force. Grease up the BB well, wipe it clean. Grease it up again and work grease into all the threads. Clean the BB cup. Apply grease and clean it again. Apply grease once more and set against the BB. Slowly spin with little force, the cup should catch the BB threads from spinning only

  • can someone tell me what i should buy a eruo or a spanish bottom bracket

  • hey guys, can anyone tell me how to tell what bb my bmx bike is? its unsealed and a 2009 mirra (dont know the exact model)

  • @tylerlrkn unsealed will be an American.

  • Hey uhm i need some nice good cheap bmx parts cuase im building a bike from scrath does anybody noe where i can shop online

  • Okay someone please help. I am going to buy Shadow Conspiracy bb kit that are 19mm so do I buy cranks that are 19mm?

And whats the difference between 19mm spanish and 19mm Euro???

    Please help.

  • @Nickizdaboss 19mm is the spindle size. Type of BB does not matter. It will be a 19 or a 22. But more than likely a 19. Euro cups are threaded, Spanish is a smaller American style you press in.

  • @BETTERBMX Thank you but I already got everything done ahah,

    It looks amazing now.

  • i'm having really bad crank problems, how many spacers should i put on to prevent it from shaking? cause if i leave bolts loose, the cranks shake, if i put bolts average, it gets stiff to pedal?

  • @captainsees Washers on the spindle will keep the bearings from compessing when you tighten the arms. The spindle washers fight the pressure applied by the arms allowing it all to be tight but spin.

  • thats the most sexy colour iv ever seen o_O

  • @MCPLATNUM anit freeze green

  • cud u use eny Bottom bracket Kit 4 eny bike and wud it still work ??

  • @NsZsnIpeZz Yes, you can test spacing outside the shell with any kit or BB.

  • @101diversity Thank you. Ride safe.

  • wht colour is ur frame?

  • @Abeel786 Antifreeze green

  • wht if its seald?

  • @iMackiiD -_- woow

  • You could use mallet. Place a folded towel over the bearing after it's placed against the BB. Then place a 2x4 over the towel. Then tap the 2x4 with the mallet. Grease the BB and bearing well. The vise is better, grease even with that method. Tolerances are very tight so go slow.

  • yep... i just installed a spanish bb today. i took a rubber mallat and smashed the fuck out of my bearings and my frame. then... i realized my dad had two blocks of wood, and a cool invention called a vice. diddnt see that at the end of the bench.

  • Yes, threaded in a fashion so they don't spin loose.

  • Hi . are all left hand reverse Threads ??

  • Great video thanks. My son is just getting into racing and we bought a redline frame with this style bb. I was scratching my head on how this works. Thank you for the info!

  • i just bought a Mechanik BB Kit will it come with different selves of will i have to even it out with the spacers? thanks for the video

  • european=spanish ??? yes no?? i havent heard of a european bb. what companys uses them?

  • European is a threaded cup with a bearing/bearings pressed into the cup. All modern BMX race frames have a threaded bottom bracket. Street, park and trail BMX bikes will have the press fit Spanish bottom bracket. Profile racing produces a european bottom bracket with two different cup types. Shimano's popular DXR and Saint cranks used by many BMX racers are euro as well.

  • The crank install tutorial is coming shortly. You can subscribe to my videos and be notified when I upload a new tutorial. Thanks.

  • Can you do a tutorial on how to install 3 or 2 piece cranks?

  • @Taketentot its not very hard you just do what he did, then you put the crank arms onto the spindle

  • I have the Euro Redline bottom bracket. What tool do I use to install or take out? The one here in your vid can be installed with a wrench. Can't do that with mine. Any suggestions? Thanks.

  • You will need a tool specific for the euro BB cups you have. If I am thinking of the right Redline BB, you will need the removal tool which looks like a cone with teeth on the end and can be used with a socket wrench. Or it may be the type that requires the flat style removal tool with grooves in it. Buying the tool will be well worth it. Any BMX shop or mountain bike shop will have the tool on hand. Thanks for checking in!
