How do you plan on keeping it from tipping over durring a match? It looked like someone had to hold it down. How many baskets can you lift at once? Great idea by way.
@TheGamerMatthew thanks, we dont intend to lift all the elevator and move the robot, what you see in the video was the beta stage of the elevator and in that time we hadn't install a chasis, as for now we have a fully operational elevator an chasis, we're still unable to know how many crates we can carry at a time cause there are no sterlite mini crates in mexico but we have done some tests and it can carry a plastic crate with about 3 batteries. hope this answer your questions, good luck
I would suggest putting the stages within each other instead of stacking them outwards, it makes it more compact, and if you design it right, more efficient
@D3Comm thanks this is our first try, we haven't tested it with the robot moving, anyway we just have one motor for the elevator, we will upload some videos with our progress, so stay tunned
@gentlemencrab awesome engineering, we were thinking of something similar but we didn't find a way to make it go really high. thanks, we will be uploading our progress
