The simple answer would be a fender strat and an Ulbrick amp (Aussie made amps). Quite possibly an Arena 50? I don't know the exact strat though. I'm more interested in finding out what pedals he's using.

I do have some audios that cover the song in a funky way (the drummer being dennis chambers!!!) and then the track with only the guitar and bass, so as a drummer you can do whatever you can think of.
