@sedod66 yes usa boxing says 15 yards of gauze 6 yards of tape .as far reduced power wrap should not affect power if any thing this wrapping style will protect your hands when punching with power and with this style wrap you can make a really good fist .hope this helps ..........fight hard train harder

awesome job. is there a minimum amount of wrap you have to have on? i personally hate having a lot of wrapping around my hands as i feel it stops me making a tight fist. also do you think having a well padded hand reduces power?

@ jmo8yfo kerlix is a gauze and you can buy@ any medical supply 1 roll is enough for both hands hope this helps

@ ice in this cae I used everlast super gauze and 6 ply curlex for the pad (medical grade) just make sure if useing for competiton ask oficial if ok. Ive had no problem with the pad I always ask before my guys get wraped just to make sure most oficials are cool with it just as long as you let them know what your wrapping your boxers hand with .curlex is extra soft but same material as wrap hope this helps
