  • Th AHEPA whose members are becoming less Greeks should concentrate on the Greeks here in the U.S. There a thousands of Greeks here in the U.S. who don't know how they will make it from not loosing their homes, without jobs, need food. I stopped going to Church where all this organizations stem from.

They live in their own world. If you go along and play their game you might get a pin. Come on AHEPA, help your own people instead of non Greek Orgs.

As an org. u did good 200 yrs ago. Today ...

  • geez, didn't the CNN host butcher the pronunciation of your (our) last name Basil? BTW, great interview! :)

  • Very impressive. You forgot the Apollo Tours plug

  • What you are trying to do is amazing &i appreciate it as a Greek citizen, currently living in Greece. However, apparently there's a plan forGreece that Not many people know about,abroad..Watch this & try to understand what Mrs.Benaki(ex.president of the Greek Parliament) told to Mr.Papoulias(president of the Republic of Greece), in 2005!!

Look for the "ΜΠΕΝΑΚΗ - ΠΑΠΟΥΛΙΑΣ" VideoOnYoutube

You can also read what she said..it is rather extreme&very sad..however true according to the latest events...

  • Currently in the JTG Program near Syntagma Square and have never once felt that I was in any way in danger. The Greek People are gracious hosts by nature and I always have felt at home whenever I have stayed in Greece! Peaceful demonstrations are the Greek way and that is how it has been and how it remains here in Syntagma tonight. Only a handful of people are actually violent, making it seem much worse on the media than it actually is! I will come back to Greece every year of my life!

  • @VZaharopoulos bravo to you. I'm with you on that one..!! Let's spread the word..!!

  • Bravo Basil! As a student currently in Greece, with the AHEPA Journey to Greece Program, I am happy to hear Basil emphasize the importance of travel to Greece. Myself along with 24 other college-aged Greek-Americans live in apartments blocks away from Sintagma, and never for a moment have I felt in danger. It is unfortunate that the actions of a few people, that are taking place in a confined area, are being magnified and having Greece portrayed as the whole country is a war zone. Ζητω η Ελλας!!

  • Basil ...save Greece!

  • Let's not forget the importance of having our Greek American youth rekindle their heritage through study-travel programs especially designed for them! In our six years, the Journey to Greece will be approaching 400 alumni that have rediscovered their roots! Not only does Greece benefit from this, but our Journey youth are forming a network of young Greek Americans that stay really connected!

  • well done Basil!!!!

  • Basil Mossaidis does a great job communicating the positive future for Greece and Greek tourism in general.

  • Bravo Basil, Good job...
