@adhrt i would say that the tidewater region is the most supierior region in VA. im in the Piedmont region myself and we have some crazy athletes but tidewater schools are top notch. if you look at VT's recruiting areas, they look in the tidewater area the most

Just based on youtube clips, Sims seems like a much better athlete but with a pretty nice touch on the pass too. Bray has a pretty strong arm and seems to be pretty accurate too.

i agree Oakton was better.If not for a lucky fumble, and losing their starting qb Oakton wins by at least 10 easy.Oscar Smith could never compete in the Northern Region..

Oakton's fumble's was not bad luck. The handoff occurred too close to the line of scrimmage, making it fairly easy for Jamara Gray to strip the ball. It was a bad play by Oakton at the worst possible time. That is how you do not win a state championship. The injury to Coyer was unfortunate, but injuries are part of the game. Smith earned this victory on the road. They played like champions the next week against Osbourn.

Come on with mor e excuses dude, Oscar Smith running back was injured also but their fans don't continue to use it as an excuse. A win is a win, and the better team won that day playing on oaktons home turf. The running the qb all day worked against the northern region teams...won't work against the east, and thats why he got punished trying to run against another great team. Glad the kid is okay though. You guys need to sucked the L up.

#1 Tim Smith is going to UVa to play WR, #33 Perry Jones whose is seen here getting carries is also goin to UVa but to play Safety rather than RB, he's a monster on defense. That 2008 O.F. Smith team was one of the roughest i've seen in a long time, Tim Smith one of the most underrated players ever in VA.
