Brandon Flowers has a very distinct sound in his voice and they very rarely, if ever, did an anthem type chorus such as "Gonna Steal your heart, gonna steal your heart away." The killers sound was, since they are on permanent leave, was much more electronic based, these guys have a keys sound in the back but a much more rock instrument base sound, you clearly do not know either band enough
