did you have to have a program running in the background to amplify the sound? or is this what it sounds like just plugging it into the pedal through the pc line in without software ???
curious if I should play it through my pc speakers when recording or if it's better through the amp with a mic in front
@KREOSTElJN But then how u can combine the sound from line in with image from camera? Cos i guess camera has a microphone too, right? So u must change the crappy sound registred from camera's mic and put the clear LINE IN one. Or do i miss something?
Hi there great vid-I'm new to guitar processors and was wondering if it is possible to play my guitar with the drum machine from the RP55 on, but with no presets on- just my guitar playing though my amp, but with the processor's drum machine playing? Thanks a lot
@bookboyolismaster Yes, you could just set the pedal to bypass (no effects) and play with a drum loop. But if you then use distortion on your amp it will distort both the guitar sound and the drum loop...
@Rock52Drummer I think a better RP-model includes the same presets and some more. I'm not sure though. But if you want one or more of these presets in the RP255 you could just program them into it =)
@4evergreendayfan These are the 40 presets you get on the RP55 itself, and you have room to program 40 more on it yourself (or just find cool presets on the internet like a Hendrix sound or something).
btw is it easy to just put effects on and off with this one? or to switch from a chorus intro to a non-chorus distorted main riff? and how did you connected it to your PC? can you also just put one of these effects over your own amp sound? aand then switch over to your own amp sound again? please answer
@4evergreendayfan The pedal has a next-effect and previous-effect button. You can switch between effect and bypass (no effect) by pressing both at the same time (which I did in the video going from clean to the first effect). You can switch between any two effects really easy if you just program those two next to each other. I connected it to my computer by connecting the output of the pedal to the line-in on my computer.
@4evergreendayfan Part 2 =P And if you use an amp (then it sounds even better, I just didn't have enough cables to use an amp at the time of recording this video =P) you can just select an effect and you will get that effect over your amp sound, and then you can press both buttons for bypass: then the effect stops and you will return to your original amp sound =)

can i use it as an amp?

Great demo, Bro! It seems that you've activated the cabinet simulation, so it sounds like it's played through an amp. Good job. Thanks. :)
