If you guys think this shit is weird, try actually LIVING in the Philippines. When I was there, there were like, a million of these shows around on prime-time television EVERYDAY.

For example, there was this show about this woman who was water (so now she looks like one of the Na'vi), another one about a magical skillet that a fat cross-dressing genie man in a chef outfit lives in, and even a show about superheroes that looks like a cosplay gone terribly awry.

It's kinda disturbing, actually.
