  • Foreign version of a Rat Rod.......

  • Big waste of time watching this shit ( sorry, but i have to say that)

  • All that hard work, and you didnt put a v8 in it, WHY??

  • Best use the correct plans next time!

  • "I could do with some direction here." - No.1: Try switching the light on when you make the next one.

  • NICE!!

  • why does everyone compare there penis size on your videos page, thats a great looking build mate, i feel sorry that all the tossers picked your video to have a winge on.

  • it sounds like a 2 stoke fourwheeler

  • silly car

  • So what is that in the engine bay? I can't quite tell, the frame and body in the way of seeing the engine properly

  • @Mechknight73 16V Fiat Lancia 2,000cc.

  • @BVM428T That's one hell of an "exotic" transplant! The Lancia was one of those cars that while they had a litany of problems, they did make some scorchers of engines.

  • So what should I build then?

  • @BVM428T

Volkswagens, much more fun, just as cheap

  • @thegrot1 WHAT A TOOL

  • @thegrot1 Don't get me wrong there is a time and a place for everything, but stop being such a Nazi. your acting like bvm428t went to your house and kicked your dog or something. it is unfortunate you can't appreciate the craftsmanship of his work! all you can do is BITCH about tax and mot you fuckin wanker! why don't you become a Highway Patrol officer, you'd fit right in with the other douchebags around here.

  • may i just say that o.k technically bvm428t was wrong in what he did, but i find your abuse and name calling scandalous and degrading to you and your point. you have proved yourself beyond pedantic and hypocritical to prove your point, so (slow hand clap) well done, and kudos to you. now please take your petty victory and negitivity and go.

  • oh and just in case MY credentials come into play, ive restored several moggys, classic 70's bikes 2 stroke and 4 stroke over the last 20 odd years and at this moment in the middle of a nut and bolt rebuild of a '72 rwa series 3 midget and i say from the work i see here, looks like a nice job bvm, kudos.

  • Thank you.

  • @thegrot1 your just a jealous twat, because you couldnt build something like that

  • So thegrot1, you have never broken a motoring law in your life? And are totally considerate to all others in your life and motoring?

I do not consider driving my car for a few metres up an down a very quiet road on one of the quietest days of the year to be having no thought for others.

  • this is a hotrod?

  • I wasn't calling the car a turd I was merely making a comparison

  • you wouldn't know the difference between shit and chewed dates.

  • That just means you have no vision and you shouldn't waiste your time looking at car vids, cause you have no feel for it.

I can see something really bad-ass in here.

  • My Mum doesn't own a Citroen but a Citroen would be a far better car than that piece of shit

  • this thing's mad, saw it go up shelsley walsh hillclimb a couple of times and it was immaculate, like it had been built as a modern touring car.

  • the beardmore boys are legends,this is a space-frame masterpiece,and its a mm lowlight too:D

  • There used to be one in Belleville, Illinois that the guy drove from the back seat. He had a windshiled and firwall built where the front seat was and one big-assed engine out front.

  • LOL, the neighbours must've loved you on christmas day

  • What an incredible project. The thought and work that you've put into this has my complete admiration. Fantastic!!

  • There is no such thing as a burnout car you idiot any car will do a burnout even a 1 litre bloody corsa and this has a lot more BHP than that!!

  • no such thing as a burnout car?

are u 10c short of a dollar or what.

a burnout car: purposely built to lay rubber... made for wheelspin and a nice turning circle on a doughnut pad. a car that is not registered or ever could be because its considered unsafe.

1lt corsa? hmm, is a corsa a type of compact car?

or are you referring to the specialist company that built the 'Veloce' and a few more based on some of Holden's mid-late 90's top end commadores?

  • wankers!

  • My comment was "Was that wheelspin?" and was an exclamation because I was not expecting wheelspin as wheelspin shows a lack of traction. It was probably the release agent on the tyres.

  • what a wanker you spend what seams like every waking hour making sarcastic comments and bascially talking everyone down on here!! i guess you think your a car lover going by the name but for fuck sake go work on the piece of shit and stop hassling everyone!

  • Impressive workmanship.

    Well done!

    LeonG

  • nice car tell them to fuck off

  • MS85ToyotaCrown/Wholelotofshakingoin,

Whoops, forgot to sign in as your other self did you?!

Why would he end up killing someone with it by just doing a quick test drive in 1st gear outside? you bloody fool.

I like the Crown Turbo you put together, but why is it ok for you to drive it like a complete penis? you might knock a Kangaroo down or something ;)

  • I appreciate your concerns, but a "proper rego" and seat belts do not make for a safe vehicle. Sound engineering principles and good design make for a safe vehicle. Examples are good load paths, reduction of stress raisers, appreciation of fatique, optimised suspension geometry with good dampers and suspension travel, good weight distribution, matched tyre sizes, aircraft spec fastenes etc etc.

  • I cant comment on your Plymouth because I havent seen it but my experience of most Hot Rods (cold Rods??) is of stiff short travel suspension with inadequate dampers using beam axles on a flexible frame with mismatched tyre sizes (often radials) and poor loadings (single shear, loads into the middle of un supported members etc) This in my opinion makes for a vehicle that is not as safe as it could be.

  • Anyway.. after spending 6 years working hard building a car who wouldnt want to take it for a quick first drive on Christmas day when the roads are very quiet? It was the best Christmas present ever!

  • as a machanical design engineer, i think ya thort it thro well, half of these guys would`nt of even thourt of these machanical facts.... well dun :}

  • pretty sure he means RoadWorthy, witch as its name implies, means certified safe for the roads.

a half finished car is NOT safe for the road, i know from experience.

  • wholelotofshakinggoin-sounds like your just jealous

  • Way to go John. Liking the stripped out look 8-)
