  • Sat back to endure him. My bad. Loved the resource of this guy. He sang with this ferocious kind of joy. He was almost native American like, He had that vibe.

  • First heard Rich at an Amy Grant concert, and was reallly ticked off that I had to hear this unknown opening act guy. I folded my arms and sat back to exude him. Within minutes, I wished that Amy Grant was Rich Mullins opening act!

  • he died

  • This is another one i hope people will buy and watch at home. It's really kind of the people who put this vid out to let it be posted, let's support them by buying too :)

  • 'accident' is a euphemism for 'martyrdom'

  • I bet Rich would be disgusted with what some of these so called new evangelicals are doing by watering down the gospel.

  • @homelesspoet No he would forgive them.

  • @homelesspoet I'd also like to include Evangelical Christian Musicians. It's more of a show than it is to get us closer with God. I cringe whenever I hear a cover of Rich's songs from someone now. Those show-goers have no idea what they're missing.

  • What happened to the audio???

  • Thanks for posting.

  • i miss rich too. someday will meet him when meet the Lord!

  • YamadaKeisai, you made me roar with laughter!

I couldn't stop laughing! Anyone can imitate a bad spelling, I guess. But it isn't the same when you have to do a good one, is it? Sometimes it is hard to understand what they are trying to say. I read that Rich lived in a hogan, with native people.

By the way, English is not my language. So, if I made mistakes, please excuse me.

  • Rich is no longer homeless. He is in the palace of our father which has many many rooms. A table set before. And his cup runneth over. One day I pray to sit with our Lord at that table.

  • Amen to that.

  • amen

  • @mabunga10 Amen. I hope that too. For all people. Let's fight for souls so that this is so.

  • I Miss Rich so much!!!!

  • First time I saw him in concert, I thought he was a beach bum, that snuck on stage. Until he started playing that Dulcimer. He was one of my Fav artists. The day. That was a Hard week, when I got that CCM Issue. Rest in Peace.

  • Steel Dulcimer + Rich Mullins = : )

  • ouch. That stings. Calling me a bad speller. And me a brother in christ. :-)

I was joking about the Wiki article.. I dunno it sounded funny in my mind....but....sigh...forgive me? peace

  • <3 rich mullins <3

  • wow nice song.... really nice!!

  • Although I'm not christian, nor a fan of his music, probably cause I'm not Christian.

Its hard not to admire such a charitable person.

I mean, from what I've found is that he preacher LOVE more than anything.

Compassion and care and charity and such.

Regardless of religion, thats the right way t go.

And thats really what I think Jesus would have done while he was alive.

  • Yes, Rich was a true beautiful selfless soul walking this earth...

  • Thank God Rich made that tape! It is the Jesus Record, has 2 cds, one just byhimself in an old church, Rich Mullins and a ragamuffin band, the other CD friends and artists came together and made a full production of it. Actually Amy G had a hit off it, "Nothing is Beyond You" strange she didn't thank or mention that or her biggest hit which brought her fully into fame was Rich's song "Sing Your Praise to the Lord"

  • I wasn't trying to dice Amy, I guess I was just disappointed with what she said, but then she could of said other things and they cut it out. I wish Amy would sing some new stuff. Her voice is so special but it seems she doesn't realize it.

  • I really think Amy articulated well Rich's boldness of spirit. And his surrender to the Lord. And Amy has recorded two new albums in the last 5 yrs: "Simple Things" and a collection of hymms. I love all of her music. She is an insightful soul too. A gift as was/IS Rich, still..

  • Man !!!! heaven's gonna be a non stop blast in worship bet. Keith and Rich and many more to come.....

  • I would love to hear those two talk and jam for sure!

  • Thanks for posting this video series. He was a very special person who made you stop and consider where you are with God. These videos do that by bringing to us what Rich Mullins was all about.

  • When I get to heaven, I want to hang out whereever Rich is going to be leading worship.

  • Amen to that Michelle!

  • I own all of Rich Mullins' music, it is on my top ten list of what I love to listen to... I miss him terribly.... He was an amazing man...

  • I'm so glad Rich's no longer a homeless man in Heaven!!

  • Well. He wasent exactly homeless.

  • Yeah,I know,but I mean his real home...to be with his beloved LORD,JESUS CHRIST:)

  • Would you believe he only asked for 10,000.00 a yr out of his earnings and the rest went to his church and causes. I was told this by muscians when I bought a hammered dulcimer, yes inspired by Rich, and no I cant' play it. It has to be one of the hardest instruments to play! I heard this from another source too, so I don't have a problem believing it. The money part I mean.

  • Thanks,I do believe what you said here, that's why I admire Rich Mullins!GOD bless!

  • True, he lived in a trailor

  • Really? I thought he lived in a trailer.

  • Yeah, he lived a trailor, people often think he lived in a traler but it was a tailor. Wikipedia told me so.

  • So now you are saying he lived in a "tailor". Wow, that's interesting! How did he live in a person who does professional sewing?

  • Rich was singing that Jesus was the homeless man. but I don't think he ever bought a home, I know on one cd I have he talked about buying some land in TN. but I don't think he ever built there,I don't know.

  • the world is a sadder place since his passing. he was a brillant song writter and musician. he writes for the angels now. rip rich

  • Yes he played a hammered dulcimer quite beautifully. He wrote almost all of his own lyrics and sang the songs as well.

  • This is Michael Aukofer playing in the opening. I wonder what he is up to? he was one of the guys who played with Rich late in Rich's short life (in heaven ten years! Since last Wednesday! I can't be anything but happy for him. And can't wait to - like so many of us blessed by his life - look him up when i get to heaven!!)

  • It's a hammered dulcimer

  • Is that a harp or a make-shift xylophone being played in the beginning? I can't really tell looking at the video.

  • This is powerful inspiring, humbling. His life is an inspiration to me. God bless you for posting this.

  • "It Is Well, It Is Well, With My Soul," he played at the beginning. Brilliant!!

  • LOLOLOL!

  • he should be playing the persian anthem

  • Thank you for putting this up. I've loved Rich since i heard awesome God . He was a great man and very humble from everything I 've heard about him so I know he's at our Lord's side.
